Prepare erosion and sedimentation control/NPDES plans and post construction stormwater management designs in accordance with State best management practices/regulations. Prepare utility design and manage utility coordination for various land development projects. Manage sub-consultants related to geotechnical, wetlands, traffic, etc. Travel to field, project, Township, etc. meetings to communicate project design aspects with Project Managers, Engineers, Township officials and Clients. (A company fleet vehicle will be provided in such instances.) Ability to write comprehensive and detailed narratives and various forms of correspondence. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents. Strong knowledge of stormwater, erosion, and sediment control Strong knowledge of water and sewer design principles Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to interpret and apply municipal land use ordinances Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience with specific programs including AutoCAD 2017 (or later version) AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 (or more recent version) Hydraflow Driver's license and clean driving record Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience 2 years of relevant experience and/or training Experience using VTPSUHM OSHA or other relevant safety certifications Physical Demands Occasionally required to Stand, walk, sit Use hands to finger, handle, feel Regularly required to talk and hear Vision abilities include Close Distance Color Ability to adjust focus Work Environment Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions Noise level is usually moderate Hours regularly exceed 40 hours a week The H&K Group, Inc. provides complete heavy civil contracting and construction materials solutions with safety, speed, quality, efficiency, and value.
