In this role as a Production Operator, you will work in the Raw Material Prep department to support manufacturing of Bio-Rad pools and intermediates in compliance with established GMP processes and procedures. is for a first-shift operator (Hours: 6:00AM to 2:30PM)
How You'll Make An Impact:
* Performs directed activities in the Raw Material Processing department to complete the manufacture of Plasma and Serum intermediates.
* Supports filling, capping and labeling operations of Bio-Rad Product in team-based manufacturing processes which may require hand filling and/or use of semi-automated machinery.
* Performs delivery of Semi-Finished Goods to Warehousing using carts or pallet trucks when applicable.
* Performs in-process and final quality inspection of components/product.
* Follow procedures and work instructions to execute production tasks.
* Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Complete inventory and quality transaction in SAP Inventory System.

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
* Basic understanding/familiarity with large scale manufacturing equipment.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.36 to $23.85 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.

**Responsibilities
**
Executes a variety of tasks that include receipt and verification of materials, calibration of equipment, operation of equipment, application of labels, sealing of bags, dispensing dry and/or wet products, capping and torquing of bottles, assembly of components and kits, performing math and measurement calculations, and completing required documentation.
Involves using hands, handling objects, tools or controls and reaching with hands/arms, standing, sitting, and bending. Regularly walks, stoops, kneels, crouches, climbs, talks, hears, lifts items, and occasionally moves up to 50 lbs. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception and adjusting focus. May work near moving mechanical parts or equipment and may be exposed to chemicals and/or hazardous materials, and risk of electric shock. May also work in freezers and coolers and handle dry ice. Noise level is generally moderate. Wear personal protective equipment and may as needed.
Follows all policies and procedures relating to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/Quality Systems)
Inspects product using visual, automated, electronic and mechanical inspection procedures
Ensures scrap and waste are disposed of properly
Operates motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials and supplies as instructed
Complies with 5S and Safety requirements
Monitors and maintains inventory at their work areas
Keeps Lead appraised of any abnormal production issues

What You'll Be DoingThe Fill/Pouch Production Technician I is a Salaried Non-Exempt position which contributes to our mission of saving and sustaining lives by supplying, operating, and maintaining various equipment in the Fill areas.
