Dr. Randy Rasmussen co-founded BFDX with Dr. Wittwer and Mr. Ririe, and he has been working in various capacities for the company ever since, including Senior Scientist (1990-1998) and Medical Director (1998-2000). He has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2000 and as President since 2008. Dr. Rasmussen is an inventor on more than 20 of BioFire’s patents and the author of numerous grants and publications related to the Company’s technologies. Dr. Rasmussen has a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Utah and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Utah State University.

Mr. Lollini started his professional career with the accounting firm of Arthur Anderson & Co. He is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance/Economics from the University of Detroit.
