View our employees's stories on how we provide care to the world ************************* JOB SUMMARY Oversees the development and execution of Strategic Program Office (SPO) projects, with direct oversight to critical milestones and deliverables. Defines and manages SPO processes, including functional work plan reviews, cross-functional collaborations, issue management and executive status updates. Leads and coordinates assessment and execution through all phases of a project life cycle. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES * Lead teams serving operations and business departments (with specific capabilities in new business start-ups), while demonstrating executive presence with C-level client counterparts. * Facilitate due diligence focused on identifying operational and technology strategy, organizational structures, and current state business processes and supporting technology. * Lead engagements teams on transaction advisory, guiding the team to prepare focused request lists and agenda, facilitating on-site reviews, and providing leadership over deliverables. * Engages leadership to implement operational processes and technology that support value creation and process efficiency across functions. * Drive the pace of implementation, disciplines and protocols for execution. * Track continuous improvements such as measuring and surveying various areas, incorporating feedback into updated integration processes and tools, etc. * Coach and manage department of project managers and actively participate in the performance review process. * Establish clear roles for functional resource owners. * Understand corporate strategy and investment priorities and turn those goals into concrete engagements and detailed proposals. * Coordinates project efforts and activities to achieve agreed timelines and budgets. * Works closely with all functional teams to best align resources with business needs. * Understands and coordinates activities with and between multiple internal departments within GMR including HR, Finance, Business development, Communications and others. * Produces accurate and complete project documentation including but not limited to requirements definition, scope documents, statements of work, project schedules, communication plan, staffing plans and requests, status reports, issue logs, test plans and test plan results, and project budgets. * Consults with management and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources. * Directs quality assurance with quality assurance plans. * Facilitates design and review sessions. * Directs the activities of on-site and off-site consultants. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: * 3-5 years' experience in project management, requirements definition and/or deployment of business solutions, including demonstrated leadership skills. Education: * Bachelor's degree in related discipline. Skills: * Advanced knowledge of Organizational Change Management. * Highly knowledgeable of funding proposals. * Strong writing, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value. * Experience with intra-department projects as well as projects with business sponsors is required. * Extensive knowledge of cost and budgetary controls procedures. * Demonstrated skill in the successful completion of multiple, simultaneous and rapidly emergent tasks. * Ability to plan for projects, including planning for cost, personnel and equipment needs. * Ability to analyze operations and organize their parts into a logical solution. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with executive management, business units, vendors, suppliers and customers, and internal teams. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
