Candidates must be willing to relocate in order to work in residence at Talbot's campus in La Mirada, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Faculty members are subject matter experts in their respective disciplines who actively integrate their faith in teaching, research, and life. This faculty position fulfills the following duties: ● Teach 21 credits per academic year in existing graduate courses in the department, including New Testament Survey, Old Testament Survey, and Hermeneutics. Courses may be residential, online, or hybrid and. ● Provide academic and professional advisement to students. ● Remain current in their field by engaging in research, scholarship, and publication. ● Willingness to travel to teach as part of Talbot's modular, hybrid, cohort courses. ● Serve as a faculty team member on department and university committees as assigned. ● Participate in campus, university, local church, and community service activities. ● Participate in other professional duties. QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate: ● Completed doctorate (or equivalent) in New Testament, Old Testament, or a similar field (required). * Academic training, expertise, and research publications in the general discipline New Testament, Old Testament, or a similar field. * Experience teaching in the field of New Testament, Old Testament, or a similar field with willingness to teach at the graduate level. * Ability to teach graduate courses online. * Demonstration of excellent teaching skills. * Candidates must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching, evidence of scholarly activity, and potential to make significant contributions to their scholarly fields. * Mature Christian character with a demonstrated commitment to service in their local church. * Willingness to travel to teach in modular hybrid cohort courses. * Other ministry experience is preferred.     The Chair of the Early Childhood Education program assures the academic integrity, educational quality, and student advisement services of this program, which is housed within the School of Education (SOE). The position begins on May 1, 2025. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead and assure the full and successful implementation of the PK3 Teaching Credential Program. Recruit and interview potential faculty and schedule class assignments. Facilitate revisions of current ECE curriculum, as needed, and serve as program liaison for all communication and collaboration with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).     The Department of Kinesiology seeks applications for adjunct instructors on an as needed basis for the following course: Lifetime Fitness and Wellness Vanguard seeks professionals of Christian faith who are committed to the integration of faith and learning in their respective fields. The applicants must have demonstrated teaching ability and a commitment to working with students of color and encouraging diversity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Teach the above-mentioned coursework. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students in both theoretical and practical components of fitness and wellness. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and personal growth. Encourage students to adopt lifelong habits that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree (MS or MA) or higher in kinesiology or related field. Bachelor's degree with experience may be considered. Teaching experience at the junior college or university level. A vibrant Christian faith and commitment to an integration of faith and learning. SALARY: The following salary range reflects compensation paid for a 3-unit course (144 total hours) and varies based on the faculty member's highest earned degree. Total compensation is based on the number of courses taught and corresponding units for each course. $3,024 to $3,600.     Clinical Professor - Public Relations The Communication Studies Department at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), Los Angeles, CA seeks applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor in Public Relations. This is a full time, non-tenure track position beginning in Fall 2026. The department would prefer to hire candidates with a Ph.D.; however, applicants must have at least a Master's degree in Public Relations, or Communication Studies with expertise in Public Relations or a closely related field in hand at the time a contract is offered. Final appointment is dependent on a confirmed degree status. Applicants who have not yet completed their degree must demonstrate progress verifiable by evidence and substantive enough to ensure completion of their degree at the time of appointment. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to enrich existing courses and develop new courses through innovative pedagogical approaches such as applied, experiential, community-based, or other inventive, critical, and anti-racist pedagogies. Candidates must be trained and able to teach courses in Public Relations to support our Public Relations minor and will be expected to propose new upper division courses to expand our offerings in this area. An ability to also teach introductory courses in our Communication Studies curriculum is preferred. Hired candidate will be required to advise students in the Public Relations Minor and to advise the LMU chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
