Aby Mathew, Ph.D., has been Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer since February 2011. From January 2007 through February 2011, Dr. Mathew served as Senior Scientist, Director of Strategic Relations, and Senior Director of Strategic Relations. From June 2003 through January 2007, Dr. Mathew served as Director of Manufacturing. From September 2000 through June 2003, Dr. Mathew served as Clinical Accounts Manager and Director of Hypothermic Preservation for Cryomedical Sciences/BioLife Solutions. Dr. Mathew has been actively engaged in research on low temperature biopreservation of mammalian cells, tissues, and organs since 1994, and his studies contributed to the development of our current commercial HypoThermosol® and CryoStor® product platforms and intellectual property foundation.

Karen Foster is a Chief Quality Officer at BIOLIFE SOLUTIONS INC and is based in Greater Seattle Area. She has worked as Director of Manufacturing at Pfizer; Director, Manufacturing at Amersham Pharmacia; and Vice President, Operations at BIOLIFE SOLUTIONS INC. Karen attended University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee - Lubar School of Business between 1998 and 2001, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 1981 and 1984, and Michigan Technological University between 1981 and 1981.

Todd Berard is a Chief Marketing Officer at BIOLIFE SOLUTIONS INC.
