Wages range from $19.50 to $21.50 per hour Qualified Research Technicians help to maintain Sierra Pacific Industries' long-term water quality, microclimate, road inventory, sediment, and erosion programs. Research and Monitoring Program staff are required to be familiar with, and adhere to, the Research and Monitoring Program Quality Assurance Project Plan, all standard operating procedures, and any additional departmental procedural documents. Staff must follow all Research and Monitoring Program guidelines, requirements, standards, documentation practices, and quality assurance/quality control procedures throughout the life of all projects. This position provides an excellent opportunity to support various ongoing peer-reviewed research projects throughout Sierra Pacific Industries' California timberlands.
The Research Technician will use ATVs, 4x4 vehicles, and foot access to perform a variety of tasks with the Research and Monitoring Crew in Sierra Pacific Industries' forests. Applicants must be willing to work in remote areas both as part of a group and independently.
Qualifications
* College-level coursework in hydrology, geology, geography, geomorphology, or Forestry, Natural Resources, or related program of study is preferred
* Possess valid driver's license and have ability to drive on hazardous mountain roads
* Safely use ATVs in remote areas - will be required to load ATVs into trucks or tow an ATV on a trailer to the field with a four-wheel drive vehicle provided by Sierra Pacific Industries
* Ability to safely work in streams, riparian areas, remote forest road networks, and hike and navigate alone in remote steep mountainous regions using map, compass, and GPS

The Research Assistant (RA) is expected to work in-person at study sites without a regular work from home schedule. Position Function
The Nwosu lab has an open position for a Postdoctoral Associate. We are seeking to hire a versatile Postdoctoral Associate with experience in a number of areas of cancer research, cancer metabolism, immunometabolism, genomics and therapeutics. The candidate should be highly enthusiastic about conducting cancer research and should ideally be committed to pursuing a career in the cancer field as demonstrated by track record of prior publications and related accomplishments from doctoral studies. The project will require the use of cell lines and mouse models to mechanistically determine how tumor-intrinsic and systemic metabolism impacts cancer therapy. One (1)- 2 years of experience. The incumbent must have a general knowledge of microbiology to accurately perform testing procedures and obtain the correct results. Basic chemistry knowledge is needed to prepare the media to the specification of the sample. A basic knowledge of food science is necessary to analyze the microbiological content of samples. Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment: The incumbent works in a laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. The Advanced Practice Providers (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) including Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), work in collaboration with the physician in the outpatient setting (in-person or Telehealth). Primary care offices or clinics can include family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. The Primary Care APP may perform minimally invasive procedures and generally works with a stable patient population.
**Responsibilities And Duties:**
Works under direction and in consultation/collaboration with physician and may perform services authorized by the supervising/collaborating physician that are part of the physician's normal course of practice and expertise. Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives. Must have a Supervision Agreement (SA) or Standard Care Arrangement (SCA) with a physician in like practice. Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with his/her/their SA/SCA and delineation of privileges.
