    Job Title: Laboratory Technician I Pay rate - $24/hr Duration: 1-Year Contract Shift: 3rd Shift (Night) We are seeking a Laboratory Technician I to work onsite in our Production Support Quality Control (QC) Laboratories at the Delaware Plant. This role supports quality assurance and research activities by testing raw materials and finished goods, identifying abnormalities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform QC testing on raw materials and finished goods in accordance with SOPs Accurately document and report test results Identify, troubleshoot, and take action on batch QC result abnormalities Support continuous improvement projects and departmental initiatives Collaborate with QC teams, production, and technical groups to disposition batches Maintain laboratory equipment and perform assigned calibrations Prioritize daily work based on production and project needs Manage lab inventory, daily material stocking, and support 6S activities Follow and support the site Quality Management System (QMS) Complete assigned development plans and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) tasks Support Departmental X-matrix action items as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering preferred Minimum 1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience Proven ability to accurately apply laboratory methods Ability to work 3rd shift (night shift) Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required by business needs
