The Marketing Manager for Pharmaceutical Solutions Marketing is responsible for executing targeted marketing strategies to drive business growth for our Pharmaceutical Quality Control (PQC) franchise in North America. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing plans that effectively position our solutions, support product launches, and enhance brand visibility within specific key segments. The Solution Manager will mostly focus on the Solution/portfolio management. There might be some limited Market Segment responsibilities as well.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Marketing & Product Launches:
Collaborate with Product Management to define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new and existing solutions.
Develop marketing materials, including product brochures, case studies, and technical content, to support solution marketing efforts.
Partner with the Sales team to execute product launch plans, including training materials, webinars, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with Supply chain and sales administrators/sales managers to review forecasts of current and new products to ensure product availability and alignment with market demand in North America.
Coordinate with Global Marketing activities that will address the development of new and enhanced solutions for the Pharmaceutical market.
Work closely with Global Solution Marketing teams to adapt global strategies for the North American market, ensuring consistency in messaging and readiness for customer delivery.
Support the value selling efforts made by the commercial team in this segment
2. Content Development & Campaign Management:
Develop compelling content for marketing communications, including digital and print collateral, social media posts, blog articles, and case studies. This will be done in collaboration with global and local communication and marketing.
Implement integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Track and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to optimize ROI.
3. Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market research to assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and recommend new initiatives.
Monitor the competitive landscape to identify emerging trends and potential threats.
4. Brand Management & Messaging:
Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all marketing communications.
Support the implementation of brand guidelines in marketing materials and campaigns.
Coordinate with external agencies for content creation and graphic design as needed.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, other local Marketing professionals, Global Marketing and other Global Industry teams, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Partner with Global Solution Marketing teams to provide North American market insights and align product availability with customer demand.
Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to address potential gaps in product availability and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
6. Budget & Performance Monitoring:
Assist in managing the marketing budget for assigned segments and solutions.
Track and report on campaign performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Provide regular updates on marketing initiatives and outcomes to senior leadership.
7.Limited Segment Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement marketing in the form of a marketing plan tailored to specific customer segments within the PQC franchise related to the solutions this position covers
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify key growth opportunities in any segments that are added to this solution management position.
Develop targeted messaging and positioning for PQC solutions in alignment with the defined segment needs.
Collaborate with the Sales team to create segment-specific sales tools, collateral, and presentations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Health Care related sciences; MBA a very nice to have.
7+ years of experience in marketing in the life sciences, healthcare, or B2B sectors or extensive expertise in the Operations or Quality sectors in the Pharmaceutical or Diagnostic sectors can also be considered (5+ years with a Master's Degree)
We will accept 7+ internal bMx experience in the Industrial applications space (Sales, Marketing, Service or operations) in lieu of Marketing or Operations or Quality experience (5+ years with a Master's Degree)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analysis.

The estimated salary range for this role based in Illinois is between $114,100 - $142,100. How you will contribute
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:
High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements

About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
* You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
* You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
* You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
* You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
* You will install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines
* You will stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
* You will take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
* You will perform finger sticks, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
* You will enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
* You will coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
* You will support the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating changes to center processes through use of company approved procedures including 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
What you bring to Takeda:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
* Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
* Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

How you will contribute
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
