As a Mobile Lithotripsy Technologist, you will be responsible for:
• Travel to hospitals and surgery centers to operate advanced lithotripsy imaging systems
• Safely transport equipment and supplies to designated customer locations
• Set up and perform quality checks on the mobile lithotripsy systems
• Collaborate with facility personnel, OR staff, and Urologists to ensure an efficient and effective case flow from beginning to end of procedures

Guide this non-invasive procedure that utilizes high pressure energy shockwaves to break kidney stones in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

DEPARTMENTAL SUMMARY: The Health Information Management Departments provide many services to our multi-hospital organization including prepping, scanning and indexing, physician deficiency analysis, release of information, medical record maintenance, facility and profee coding.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Professional Fee Coding Specialist II at St. Charles Health System is responsible for coding and charging SCMG Clinical Services as well as resolving billing edits and denials. This position does not directly manage other caregivers, however, may be asked to review and provide feedback on the work of other caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Advanced skills in reading and interpreting documents contained in the medical record to identify and code all relevant ICD-10-CM diagnoses and CPT-4 procedures for professional fee charges by utilizing an encoder program, and following National and SCHS coding guidelines, Coding Clinic, CPT-4 and other appropriate coding references and tools to ensure proper code assignment and modifiers.
Abstracts medical record information in compliance with CMS requirements and SCHS abstracting procedures as appropriate. Use available tools to check entries for accuracy. This may include data for clinical studies and quality management activities.
Captures the correct modifiers appropriate for CPT code assignment.
Reconciles CCI and Medical Necessity edits.

What you'll work on
Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive patient information by limiting access to the records on an as needed basis
Work with clinical teams, facilities, and providers to ensure compliance of healthcare information management documentation

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting the Tailings and Water Monitoring Systems which includes, but is not limited to, piezometers, prisms, slope inclinometers, transducers, flow meters and radar scanning equipment.

Instrumentation Protection & Maintenance: Develop and implement protection plans for piezometers, inclinometers, prisms, and other monitoring devices. Perform daily and weekly system health checks, troubleshoot offline or malfunctioning equipment, and maintain KPI reporting on monitoring system performance.
Real-Time Monitoring & Alerts: Monitor real-time systems to identify variances or threshold exceedances. Promptly notify the Engineer of Record (EoR) and site engineers of system alerts and support follow-up actions.
Installation & Data Collection: Coordinate with contractors on installation of new and replacement field instrumentation. Collect monitoring data-piezometers, inclinometers, prisms, and related measurements-for environmental reporting, EoR reviews, and engineering analyses.
Technology Evaluation & Program Support: Assess the effectiveness of existing monitoring systems and research emerging technologies such as Sensemetrics, InSAR, and radar scanning. Assist site engineers in developing training materials and documentation to support the monitoring program.
Operational Support: Provide field support for tailings and water operations, including sand sampling and KPI data collection such as freeboard, beach width, and seepage measurements. Perform additional duties as needed to support TSF monitoring and operational reliability.
