Alessandra Pavesio is a Chief Science Officer at Bioventus. She works or has worked as VP:Research & Development at ANIKA THERAPEUTICS, INC. and VP:Research & Development at Fidia Advanced Biopolymers Srl. Alessandra attended Rettorato Università degli Studi di Torino.

John Nosenzo is the Chief Commercial Officer for Bioventus. He joined the company on February 6, 2017. Prior to joining Bioventus, John worked for six years at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as its Senior Vice President, Global Customer Operations. Previously, John served as Senior Vice President, Customer Relations Management for Siemens Healthcare where he developed and implemented sales plans for the company’s multi-billion dollar healthcare imaging and healthcare IT commercial organizations.

Prior to that, John served as Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Quest Diagnostics and spent six years with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, which was formerly the Bayer Healthcare Diagnostics Division. At Siemens, John served as Vice President of Sales, Medical Testing Systems before being promoted to Senior Vice President, General Manager- Americas.

John began his career in healthcare with Bayer, working there for more than 15 years within the company’s pharmaceutical division, first in various sales roles, and eventually serving as the Vice President of Sales - Generic Products Division, and later Vice President of Marketing and Sales - Specialty Products of the Schein Pharmaceutical Division where Bayer held an equity position.

John received an MBA in marketing and management from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from St. John’s University.

Katrina Church is the Chief Compliance Officer of Bioventus and is responsible for all ethics and compliance functions at the company.

Prior to joining Bioventus, Katrina spent nearly 11 years with the Merz Group of companies where she served in several corporate counsel and compliance roles, most recently as Global Compliance Officer for Merz Pharma GmbH & Co KGaA. In 2020, Church was nominated for several industry awards for compliance training, and won the 2020 Women in Compliance Award for “Most Impactful Compliance Training Programme of the Year.”

Previously, she was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Connetics Corporation, a medical dermatology company that was acquired by Stiefel in 2008. Prior to her career with Stiefel, she served as general counsel of VISX, Inc., a medical device company that pioneered the vision treatment known as LASIK. She began her career as an attorney at Hopkins & Carley, a San Jose-based law firm.

Katrina received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and an AB magna cum laude from Duke University.
