It is a one-of-a-kind facility in the Midwest and joins only a handful in the U.S. The state-of-the-art, dynamic facility showcases new advances in aquaculture system technology such as sustainable land-based recirculating aquaculture, while also providing traditional aquaculture systems such as flow-through raceways and outdoor ponds for industry-based research.
Compensation:
$41,600 annually ($20 per hour)
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2-years' experience with aquaculture related systems and processes, including Recirculating Aquaculture Systems and related equipment such as sand biofilters, floating bed biofiltration, drum filters, Hach monitoring equipment, and YSI monitoring equipment.
An understanding of the culture of Atlantic salmon, rainbow trout, lake trout, walleye, yellow perch, or other freshwater species.
Skills in basic aquaculture facility and equipment maintenance such as small engine repair, net mending, carpentry, PVC piping, lawn care, power tool operation, tractor operation, etc.
Possess a valid driver's license and ability to meet standards set to drive state vehicles.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Possesses skills required for carrying out tasks related to research project completion including database management, foundational statistics knowledge, and scientific writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
SCADA, water quality monitoring experience, statistical methods and programs (e.g. R), manuscript preparation.

Essential Job Duties:
Leasing and Marketing
Handle telephone and on-site traffic, provide information about apartments and the community to prospective residents, schedule visits to the community, and show made-ready apartments.
Successfully close new sales, lease apartments, and determine if prospective residents meet community qualifications.
Maintain an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage, etc.
Complete follow-up Thank You notes, call-backs, and e-mails with prospects after the initial community visit.
Monitor all vacancies and future vacancies in order to react proactively to future occupancy needs.
Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and regulations
Work with the community staff to make sure that the propertys appearance is acceptable and that apartments are ready to show to prospective residents.
Inspect vacant apartments on a regular basis to ensure that they are ready to show to prospective residents.
Assist with implementing resident retention and renewal programs
Monitor community advertisements, the effectiveness of responses, and maintain the ad book.
Gather information about markets and communities
Analyze concerns associated with apartments which are slow to lease
Assist other staff members as needed
Maintain open communication with other members of the community
Represent the Company in a professional manner
Effectively explain all lease and community policies to new and current residents
Assist in the planning and implementation of, and attends, various community sponsored resident functions and activities.
Administrative Duties:
Accurately and efficiently prepare and assist with all leasing paperwork (i.e. applications, lease agreements and addendum, and move-in packets).
Conduct follow up activity as needed with new and current residents in order to establish and maintain positive resident relations.
Complete service requests and communicate requests to the maintenance staff on a timely basis
Collect security deposits, rent and all other funds
Ability to translate financial and legal real estate terminology into common language
Attention to detail for managing all aspects of lease terms, including conflict resolution, move-in procedures and financial transactions

Job purpose: To support the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)'s work to develop Standards that will result in a high-quality global baseline of sustainability disclosures focused on the needs of investors and the financial markets. You will work on its industry-based research and standard-setting, including enhancements to the SASB Standards, focusing primarily on the technology & communications sector and related topics.
Team: The Industry-based Approach team on the ISSB technical staff performs research and stakeholder engagement to support the ISSB's standard-setting. This work includes efforts to enhance the SASB Standards and other industry-specific aspects to the ISSB's research related to nature and human capital.
Principal accountabilities:
Evidence-based research-Undertake research on business risks and opportunities associated with sustainability issues (such as climate, nature and biodiversity, human capital, and human rights). Work entails focusing on the technology & communications sector, including enhancing the SASB Standards for that sector.
Stakeholder consultation - Act as a credible and authoritative representative of the ISSB by engaging with a wide range of external stakeholders from industry and the investment, regulatory and standard-setting communities, to ascertain their views and to share information.
Staff analysis and recommendations - Conduct analysis and develop technical proposals for consideration by the ISSB and its advisory committees, and facilitate their decision-making
Technical papers - Draft due process documents (research papers, discussion papers, requests for information, exposure drafts, ballot drafts and standards).
Initiate and lead discussions with ISSB members, advisory committees, and working groups.
Work with IASB Technical Staff when relevant to ensure connectivity and compatibility between the work of the IASB and the ISSB in developing IFRS Accounting and Sustainability Disclosure Standards.
Project management, including coordination of a range of activities to support the delivery of technical projects and coordination across other project work plans.
Contribute to the development of other staff.
