As a leading builder in Canada with offices coast-to-coast, Bird Construction has been providing construction services to a long list of new and repeat clients since 1920.
From our humble beginnings in Saskatchewan in 1920, Bird has grown to be a construction leader, building Canada for the last 100 years.
The company would be known as “Bird, Woodall and Simpson” from 1926.
In 1964, Albert Stork and Dominic Crowe left George W. Rogers Construction Corp. a major New York Marine Contracting firm to open and operate Bird Construction.
Company founder H.J. Bird passes away on October 21, 1965.
In 1994, James Hannon left Brand Marine Services Corp. to purchase Bird Construction to continue Al and Dominic’s legacy of outstanding craftsmanship and service.
