Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Maintain area, equipment, and personal hygiene. Utilize downtime to keep work area neat, clean and orderly.
Communicate effectively with other plant personnel regarding any production issues, changes, and safety issues.
Communicate potential and actual Food Safety Issues to personnel (direct Supervisor or QA) to initiate the corrective action process.
Keep production area free of wooden bins by removing broke down bins to stacks or trailers outside.
Clear floor of berries and juice between each grind to prevent excessively slippery conditions and poor housekeeping.
Sanitation
Perform Pre-Operational Inspections and equipment checks at established intervals during processing to ensure product quality and equipment performance.
Maintain product traceability on the Production Flow form, the Grind Log Sheet, the Bin Tally Sheet and the Enzyme Usage Log. All paperwork must be clear, legible, and accurate.
Operation of the front end when grinding to the enzyme tanks for a hot process run.
Assist with the bagging of Pomace, breakdown of bins, and dumping bins safely and efficiently using a “Dumper” forklift.
Pull bins safely and efficiently using a forklift.
Work Environment:
Hair restraints are required. Earplugs, safety glasses and or other PPE may be required.
Ability to constantly stand/walk; climb stairs; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with left or right hand.
Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors in tight quarters.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with temperatures ranging from 55°-95°F.

* Provide end to end expertise of all probiotic and postbiotic manufacturing processes at Kerry
* Be a thought leader for fermentation technology and probiotic manufacturing that defines and shapes continuous improvement strategies and plans through deep expertise in fermentation engineering and microbial physiology.
* Lead and support optimisation initiatives to increase CFU count, reduce cycle time, reduce costs, improve scalability and enhance safety and product quality
* Define KPIs for each fermentation process. Launch and oversee projects to drive continuous improvement of KPIs.
* Collect and analyse process data statistically and build models to support process decisions and continuous improvement.
* Provide subject matter expertise in aseptic design and SIP and CIP systems to reduce contamination and process robustness
* Support downstream operations (centrifugation, filtration, freeze drying, spray drying) to ensure reliable and high-performing operations.
* Support and execute successful tech transfer to manufacturing partners including establishing SOP's, equipment qualification plans and training programs.

This is a boot on the ground, customer focused position that works closely with local farmers, municipalities, farming organizations, papermills, and the Wisconsin DNR to ensure compliancy of land applications. This position will work closely with Synagro operations with coordinating delivery of papermill residuals in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage existing land base inventory and procure additional land base to meet operational requirements and provide strategic growth for the business.
Prepare permit applications and NMP's as needed for land application sites. This may include soil, mill residuals, and biosolids sampling; analytical interpretation and waste characterization; geo-mapping services; interpretation of soil, tax and topographical maps; and review and interpretation of applicable regulations to determine land base acceptability and compliant product use.

ERCO Worldwide is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Apprentice to join our E&I team! The E&I Apprentice will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems including distributed control systems (DCS), high voltage rectifiers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors and motor control systems including variable frequency drives (VFDs), field process measurement devices (control valves, pH & ORP probes, temperature elements, pressure elements, level gauges, etc.). The Apprentice will conduct interlock checks, specify and procure repair materials and equipment for new and modified installations.
The Role:
Perform preventative and repair maintenance tasks for electrical and instrumentation throughout the plant (preventative techniques may include thermography, vibration analysis, etc.)
Conduct electrical and instrument troubleshooting and repairs on assigned equipment.
Specify, install and calibrate new electrical and instrumentation included in plant upgrades and modification.
Conduct safety interlock checks on a prescribed frequency; update electrical and instrument loop drawings as required.
Manage relevant work orders in the CMMS in support of preventative maintenance (PM) compliance (timely closure, etc.). Updates maintenance files, drawings and documentation. Ordering and control of repair materials.
Attend formal classes that support the Journeyman program. Log all necessary hours supporting training and other required documentation.

Purpose: The goal of the Ahlstrom Stevens Point Mill's Co-op program is to cultivate the development of potential future engineering and leadership resources for our organization while providing high-quality process support to the mill's operations group(s). Co-op assignments are structured to provide candidates with opportunities to grow and develop in their chosen discipline as well as to educate them on various career paths within the organization. Although there is no guarantee of future employment, our goal is to have our Co-ops fully capable of stepping into a full-time engineering position within our organization by the end of the program.
We are seeking a Product Development & Quality Process Engineer Intern at our Stevens Point, Wisconsin plant for Summer 2026. This position will assist the Production Team in the achievement of safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives of a paper machine process line. Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Requirements:
* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
* Enrolled in a Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar Engineering degree program
* Living in or willing to relocate to the Stevens Point, Wisconsin area from May - August 2026
* Strong technical aptitude and proven problem-solving abilities
* Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects by conducting trials including development of trial plans and authoring trial reports
* Assist with machine shutdowns and start-ups
* Learn and provide technical support to process engineers and coordinators with Proficy, Centerlining, Optivision and Aspentech software systems
* Monitor, assess, analyze, and optimize process quality and conditions
* Monitor, assess, and analyze process variability
* Reduce environmental impact
* Provide technical support for key departments
* Provide problem solving and analytical skills
* Must follow Ahlstrom's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper
* Assist and/or lead safety, productivity, quality, efficiency, cost control, compliance, and housekeeping projects
* Support machine manager in leading a paper machine process line, including daily and long-term activities
* Support operations/maintenance efforts and drive continuous improvement
