Bishop O'Dowd High School seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Academic Support Liaison to support students with organizational and strategic tutoring through a one-on-one academic coaching model. The Academic Support Liaison is also responsible for the Academic Support Center and Peer Tutoring Program. The Academic Support Liaison reports to the Director of Academic Support and is a member of the Academic Support team of four people who work collaboratively to support students. Academic Support staff partner with counselors, our Director of Health & Wellness and Therapeutic Services, and administrators to support students' academic success.
Academic Support Liaison Responsibilities
Academic Coaching
Provide one-on-one academic support to LD/ADHD students and students on academic probation, and other students (by referral only).
Build rapport with students.
Develop and maintain written academic support plans that are shared with the counselor, student, and parents.
Log attendance for academic check-ins.
Weekly meeting with Counselor for LD/ADHD students.
Refer students to in-house supports (peer tutoring, SMART sessions, office hours, etc) as needed.
Peer Tutoring
Recruit peer tutors, hold informational meeting at the beginning of the school year.
Lead 3 peer tutor training sessions per semester.
Meet regularly with Lead Peer Tutors.
Manage selection process for Lead Peer Tutors.
Manage peer tutor schedules / track volunteer hours.
Create and maintain an appropriate atmosphere in the Academic Support Center.
Collect and analyze data re: use of Academic Support Center and tutors.
Academic Support Liaison Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.

THE ROLE
The CFO at Saint Francis High School (SFHS) works full-year and guides the inner workings of campus Facilities, supports educators through Human Resources, fuels the welcoming nature of our community through Hospitality and mitigates risks while optimizing opportunities through responsible fiscal practices of the Business Office. The Chief Financial Officer reports to and serves at the discretion of the President of Saint Francis High School and with the Board of Directors. The next CFO inherits amazing teams in the Business, Hospitality and Facilities departments of the school who collaborate daily to support the community. Position Summary
The Transformational Coaching Initiative (TCI) is a Lasallian Vincentian program centered on developing educators, including faculty, staff, and athletic coaches, by empowering the inclusive, Catholic community of faith at SHC to elevate and embrace personal and professional growth that fosters student success.
SHC Athletics Partner Coaching Program aims to help eligible athletic coaches continue to grow as professionals. The Assistant Athletic Coach is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Collegiality - The assistant coach is to support and follow the direction of the head coach in all matters that pertain to the sport. Teachers at Bishop O'Dowd High School are responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program in alignment with Bishop O'Dowd High School's Integral Student Outcomes. The individual in this position will collaborate most closely with their respective department team, ensuring consistency across grade-levels and content areas. Teachers are also expected to collaborate and communicate consistently with counselors to ensure whole-student support and success while maintaining open and engaging lines of communication with guardians and families.
