The Senior Digital Product Manager - Automation will be part of team envisioning, developing, and owning portfolio of automation solutions across all business functions and consumer domains. This person will play a critical role as part of a large digital transformation program. BISSELL is seeking a dynamic individual to build out a center of excellence, using bots and embedded solutions to automate and improve processes. The person in this position will help ideate and build requirements for automation solutions and assist in establishing a community of automation end-users. The automation product manager is responsible for maximizing product value and helping prioritize and define the work for the development teams. The successful person in this role will be customer. Primary responsibility will be to work directly with the business partners and gather use cases focused on automating processes, helping to continually improve methods and processes with the business community. The Senior Digital Product Manager - Automation is expected to work with various groups within the business to drive new features, develop a roadmap for automation, and help maintain the product backlog. This person is also expected to work in an agile team environment working closely with the development team on development and execution of automated processes. Responsibilities Gathers information about the organization's work processes and information flows Translates high-level, complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and manages changes to such requirements Serves as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed Work independently with users to define concepts Utilizes experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans Consults with senior IT management on the design of moderately complex systems and projects Possesses an understanding of a wide variety of products and systems capabilities and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business groups to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge Facilitate team collaboration sessions such as Release Planning, Retrospectives, and cross-team dependencies May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
