This role will support students in the grades of PK-8 th grade students while swimming. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This role will demonstrate a passion to instruct youth, specifically PK-8th grade students to learn new skills and teach water safety and provide rescue saving procedures. This role will be responsible to enforce procedures, rules, and regulations to students, alongside Swim Instructor as needed. Shares with swimmers pool regulations and water safety policies. Performs water rescues and administers first aid/CPR to swimmers in danger of drowning and/or adequately perform lifesaving procedures as necessary. Monitor students to always prevent accidents and injuries following internal/external processes. Enforces procedures, rules, and regulations to all students concerning standards of conduct, pool rules and water safety implementing ground rules for each swim session. Document and report all accidents and ensure appropriate documentation is turned into supervisor immediately. Report all incidents to supervisor in a timely manner.
