Role Overview:

Processes (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other clerical duties, as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
Assists Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, by medical provider detailing and outreach to health groups, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for enhancing growth opportunities.
Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance.
Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Otherwise, earns PTCB certification as condition of promotion to senior technician.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Retail Management, or related field
7+ years of experience in retail operations, digital commerce, or consulting with a focus on process improvement and sales optimization
Proven track record of leading initiatives in grocery, big-box, or warehouse club formats
Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, Tableau) and project management platforms (MS Project, Asana, Jira)
Experience with labor standards, workforce management systems, and omnichannel retail analytics
Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Inventory Accounting Financial Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on inventory and waste accounting within our clubs and distribution centers (DC). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Accounting and reconciling shrink provision/salvage accounts to understand the balances and assess the level of reserves. Realigning shrink rates for non-perishable categories each quarter to ensure proper reserves
Analyzing club yearly physical inventory to understand shrink opportunities and top drivers of expense each month. This also includes a regular roll forward during weeks of inventory to ensure sources of expense
ABC Count designation realignment to ensure counts for the following year are in line with the appropriate category risk level and shrink
Regular monitoring of salvage expense reserves
Provides reporting that is reviewed at forecasting meetings to help FP&A & merchant teams understand top drivers and expected results
Salvage receivable monitoring for all sources of salvage sales done both at DCs and clubs. He also determines where we have gaps or potential exposure due to aged or large unpaid receivables
Recall receivable monitoring for items on active recall including communication with Asset Protection to ensure collectability
Develop new and adhoc reporting using BW/EDW (including Tableau)/SAP tools
Attend and discuss meetings for inventory and cycle related initiatives such as S4 Hana, Robotics Distribution Center, DC cycle counting, etc
Provide process enhancements which result in opportunities for cost savings, simplification, or enhancement of business-critical information.
Working in a team or individually on ad hoc tasks, projects, or analysis as needed to support management.
Responsible for overseeing offshore team and ensure all processes associated with working with offshore team are followed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of Finance/Accounting or inventory accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
