General Purpose:
The Dealer Relationship Specialist acts as a liaison to our indirect dealer partners on behalf of the Credit Union. The Dealer Relationship Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining an indirect lending program that increases penetration in the indirect auto market that is in line with the Credit Union's strategic objectives. Build and enhance relationships between the Credit Union and new and existing dealers. Review and analyze dealership performance and monitor the Credit Union's indirect loan portfolio performance.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the growth of BHFCU's dealer network by researching dealers not utilizing BHFCU, educating dealers on our program to determine fit, and signing new dealers up to utilize BHFCU's indirect program.
Responsible for the generation and growth of loan volume within an assigned territory.
Develop and sustain an indirect lending program that increases penetration among dealer partners consistent with the Credit Union's growth objectives.
Monitor dealership performance and proactively engage inactive or underperforming dealer partners.
Apply creativity and problem-solving skills to drive results and exceed goals.
Maximize penetration levels in dealerships through performance ratios by continually tracking applications, approvals, bookings, and quality of submissions/paperwork.
Provide remote customer service and training to dealership personnel.
Support cross-sell opportunities.
Identify, suggest, and implement marketing opportunities and programs.
Routinely visit dealers to promote lending products and programs to dealers to increase overall understanding of, and familiarity with Credit Union products.
Grow and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing dealerships in person, via phone, email, and video conferencing.
Responsible to stay current on competitor programs to include rate changes, market developments, news, and trends.
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Keep management informed of any dealer issues.
Serve as liaison between dealers and Credit Union staff while working toward resolutions, including correcting contract errors, titling issues, collecting dealer charge backs and negative reserves.
Meet with dealers regularly to define expectations, review results, and identify areas of improvement.
Review and analyze dealership performance and monitor the Credit Union's indirect loan portfolio performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Knowledge:
Working knowledge of the credit union's products and services.
Working knowledge of credit union's policies/procedures and service philosophy.
Working knowledge of safety and security program for false alarms, robberies, bomb threats and extortion.
Working knowledge of credit union's in-house computer system / Internet.

Job Qualifications (Education/Experience)
Job requires a high school level of language, math and reasoning skills. 3-5 years of dealership experience in Finance and Insurance, auto sales or related industry preferred. This position must possess and maintain a current, valid drivers license.

The job will require multiple overnight stays throughout the month. The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations. The job requires a degree of attention to details.
Physical Requirements

This role is designed for an experienced water treatment professional who desires to provide advanced technical support, analysis, and coordination across treatment operations, regulatory programs, and capital projects.

The Day-To-Day
Technical Expertise & Treatment Optimization: Serve as a technical resource for water treatment facilities by monitoring and evaluating treatment performance using engineering studies, operational logs and trends, field and laboratory data, and system analytics, and by conducting jar tests and pilot studies to optimize chemical dosing, membrane life expectancy, filter performance, corrosion control, TOC removal, chlorine demand, and overall treatment efficiency.
Regulatory & Program Support: Support regulatory compliance and optimization programs through data analysis, accurate recordkeeping, technical documentation, and report writing, including participation in the Partnership for Safe Water program and continuous improvement efforts.
Capital Projects & System Improvements: Provide technical support for the design, construction, startup, commissioning, and operational transition of capital improvement projects by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data, coordinating project phasing, managing compliance risk, maintaining service continuity, and representing Water Operations during construction and project-related activities.
Distribution System Technical Support: Provide technical analysis and coordination for the water distribution system, including evaluating flow control strategies and system performance, and serving as a technical liaison between Water Operations and other operational groups for repairs, projects, and routine operations.
Operational Support: Support Water Operations supervisory programs as assigned, serve as a backup Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) as needed, and participate in the supervisor on-call rotation to provide decision-making authority during after-hours operational emergencies or water quality events.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum of two years of technical experience in water treatment or a closely related field.
State of Colorado Certified Water Professional Water A and Water Distribution III licenses.
Support will be provided to obtain required licensure within the first two years of employment if not already held.
Familiarity with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations pertaining to water treatment and distribution system operation (e.g., Federal Safe Drinking Water Act, Colorado Regulation 100, and all Rules within Colorado Regulation 11).
Demonstrated ability to analyze treatment processes, interpret operational and laboratory data, and apply findings to support system performance improvements.
Proven technical writing skills, including preparation of technical memoranda, process evaluations, and regulatory or program reports.
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly, both orally and in writing.
Experience using Excel for data analysis, formulas, charts, graphs, and historian or reporting queries.
Valid driver's license required and ability to meet ERWSD insurability standards.
Experience supporting capital improvement projects, pilot studies, or system optimization initiatives.
Schedule
This role will be scheduled to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary. Must be willing to work on-call shifts in a seven-day rotation.
Compensation
The range for this position is $93,174 - $131,691. Starting range depends on qualifications but generally falls within the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.

Interview and evaluate the needs of members and potential members, identify appropriate member needs and cross-sell financial products that meet those needs.
Serve membership by providing information and account service in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner.
Open/close accounts, process stop payments, order cards, answer questions regarding deposit accounts, loan accounts, plastic cards, remote access etc.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation for loans and new accounts by gathering information and resolving uncertainties through inquiries with creditors, and/or members according to the credit union policy.
Analyze and evaluate applicant's financial status by reviewing credit information, determining debt to income ratios, estimating payments, determining collateral requirements and establish collateral values, co-signer requirements and membership eligibility as defined by the policy.
Possess general product knowledge relating to mortgage, home equity, and business loans for referral purposes.
Complete outbound calls (2-2-2) to members, partner follow-up and other types of calls as requested by management.
Assist other departments as necessary (i.e. collections, accounting, etc.)
File claims for GAP, GAP Advantage, ADR and Debt Protection.
Be well versed regarding credit union policies and procedures. Advise manager of external factors that may affect policy by suggesting policy modifications.
Cross train other staff, as requested, on duties, functions, and responsibilities to assure proper back up.
Follow proper member identification and security procedures and ensure that member and employee information is kept in the strictest confidence.
Receive and payout money and keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transaction by performing Member Service Associate duties. See Member Service Associate job description for more information.
Respond to member inquiries and requests regarding financial services and enter them into applicable computer systems and programs.
Approve loans within specified limits OR refer to a manager with recommendations to obtain approval.
Oversee timely loan closing and funding activities.
Provide ongoing relationship servicing with current members to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
Assist members with problem resolution and account reconciliation.
Responsible for Safe Deposit box transactions
Execute, key, and verify wire transfers.
