**The Opportunity**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Functionin a lead water process engineer role, as a technical specialist or as a subject matter expert in the areas of conventional water treatment using processes such as coagulation, clarification, softening, media filtration; and advanced water treatment processes such as membrane filtration, reverse osmosis (brackish, seawater), UV/AOP, ozonation, carbon adsorption, and/or distribution system water quality. Experience in water reuse, brackish and seawater desalination is desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Engineering:**
- Prepares a variety of engineering deliverables, including process/mass balance calculations, design criteria/basis of design memoranda, process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), tradeoff studies, and master planning studies
- Supports multiple projects simultaneously with complex technical challenges

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Advanced degree (Master's or Doctoral) in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering preferred.
+ 15 years of experience in drinking water treatment with at least 5 years in water quality and treatment (water quality analysis, treatment evaluations, process design, regulatory compliance assessments, distribution water quality analysis, etc.).
+ Advanced knowledge of process design for treatment of municipal effluent for reuse, brackish and seawater desalination, brine management, engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
+ Established leadership skills with deep understanding of consulting, project execution, client services, and business development.

Responsibilities
Leads the estimating deliverable for an entire project coordinated with the Senior Estimating Manager, preconstruction lead, operations team, and Business Development (BD) staff (projects ranging in size and complexity as assigned by Senior Estimating Manager)
Coordinates the development of the Site Services general costs with the operations team, Senior Estimating Manager, and preconstruction lead to align with contract requirements and trade costs
Develops self by training under Senior Estimating Manager/Estimating Manager for conceptual cost estimates and budgets on limited information while providing adequate written clarifications of the costing assumptions
Reviews and understands all project plans, requirements, and specifications
Coaches and mentors a team of estimators to develop large, multi-disciplinary estimates
Develops and recommends appropriate contingency and allowance values with each estimating deliverable
Determines labor and equipment costs
Reviews and understands all bid documents while assessing project risks
Understands project logistics and project schedule for complete alignment with the estimate and estimating deliverable
Assists the operations team in the development of bid packages; assists in the analysis of competitive subcontract and supplier bids
Attends scope review meetings as required to assist the operations and purchasing teams in the preparation of bid recommendations
Connects with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction
Develops accurate cost models within Gilbane's costing software
Tracks and reports on current material and labor prices, including escalation
Determines lead times for equipment and materials; communicates with the entire project team to capture the information within the project schedule

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Geologist III to be based in our Raleigh, NC office. This position will support our Remediation team within our Environment business line. This position is expected to begin immediately.
The Geologist III will serve as a team member in the office and the field, assisting project and program management with design and implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation.
The role will be responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policies. The department is involved in many on-going efforts and continue to utilize top talent to exceed performance expectations.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
* Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet client needs on schedule and within budget.
* Utilize various techniques to generate data from remedial or investigative field work. Field work includes but is not limited soil/groundwater/vapor sampling, soil boring/monitoring well installations with various drilling techniques (i.e., DPT, HSA, sonic, air rotary, mud-rotary, etc.), operations and maintenance of remedial systems, etc.
* Record and manage data in EQuIS (or similar) database
* Proficient use of GIS, CAD, or similar to generate geologic cross-sections, potentiometric maps, or other figures.
* Work independently or with minimal direction to prepare draft technical documents.
* Project and task management, client interaction, proposal writing, and cost estimating under the supervision of senior project management staff.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* BA/BS in Geology, Environmental Science or related field + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
* Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review

* Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and safely drive a full-size pickup truck.

Responsibilities include:
Performing hydrologic/hydraulic design and analysis for drainage systems, culverts, and roadside ditches.
Provide CAD support using Bentley Open Road Designer (ORD).
Collaboration with the design team.
Assist in preparing technical reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Must have completed three years of study.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles.
Focus on hydraulics/water resources within degree path.
Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking an experienced and talented Transportation Business Unit Leader. This is the key position for our Southeast Region transportation group, and you will be joining a team of highly successful transportation professionals with exceptional knowledge and experience with all aspects of the States of Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina transportation industry. This is a career opportunity that encompasses leading a business with relationships in multiple transportation markets including but not limited to surface transportation, transit, aviation, rail, ports, and construction services. The qualified candidate is required to reside in Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide leadership and strategic direction for a business line (Transportation) for all regions, states and market sectors across the business unit
* Serve as AECOM's industry leader in the business line and collaborates with peers in other geographies to provide consistent market approaches, leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction and implement best practices
* Develop a strategic plan to drive strategy, growth, backlog, and sales in defined market sectors and end-markets across the business unit
* Manage business development (BD) resources and budget to deliver an acceptable return on BD investment
* Build relationships with key clients, funding sources, industry organizations, teaming partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities and grow the business
* Attract, develop and retain industry leaders, prominent technical specialists and core team members to strengthen our business unit delivery team, our brand and our performance for our clients
* Coordinate and collaborates with other business unit and regional business line leaders to maximize cross-selling and to offer integrated services to global, geography-wide and regional clients
* Develop key industry relationships, promotes technical practices, innovation, sharing, and knowledge management
* Understand, Manage, and Attain key performance metrics for the business, including sales, revenues, profit, and cash flow measures
* Responsible for the overall technical practice, project performance, and operational management of all areas and offices within the business unit
Qualifications
Minimum:
* Bachelor's degree
* Twelve years of experience including 4 years of successful leadership running a profit/loss center with a broad understanding of the transportation business or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
* Experience and familiarity with TN, AL, NC and SC programs/projects and leadership and/or National experience with similar state DOT programs
* Proven ability to provide leadership and strategic direction for a business unit or geographic business line
* Proven ability to coordinate efforts across regions, business lines and geographies, growth of the business line and development of strategic plans, policies and organizational objectives
* Proven aptitude for applying a full understanding of company procedures, professional standards, policies, and business practices to achieve financial results, meet business deadlines and grow a business
* Valid U.S Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Preferred:
* PE licensure (TN, AL, NC or SC) (or comparable industry-recognized certification/licensure)
* Proven track record of extensive industry experience
