**The Opportunity**
Infrastructure Advisory Pursuit Managers play a critical role in the management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP). In this role, you will work with leaders across Infrastructure Advisory and Black & Veatch to drive accelerated new business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
Responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with governance. Assigned proposals may range from small to medium size / moderate complexity projects across consulting, engineering, project management, and asset lifecycle services.
This professional interfaces directly with and provides support to the sales manager, solution sales director, integrated solution strategists, the project director, the project manager to set the proposal execution strategy / schedule, assemble proposal response team, and develop value proposition / win strategies.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Coordinate the development of pursuit execution plans and division of responsibilities.
+ Monitors and manages pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets.
+ Lead facilitation of legal, insurance, finance, tax, treasury, and security reviews.
+ Lead coordination and facilitation of pursuit bid/no-bid and bid approval steps in accordance with governance requirements.
+ Assist in continuous improvement of pursuit governance processes, procedures and tooling.
+ Collaborate with Project Directors and Project Managers to support development of cost estimates and rate sheets.
+ Participate in scope, cost, and commercial reviews.
+ Working with Project Directors and Project Managers, conduct quality assurance checks on pursuit documentation and cost estimates to improve deliverability of projects.
+ Facilitate risk determination / mitigation and leadership approval discussions.

**The Opportunity**

**The Team**
**The Mechanical Engineering Department** is a global team that delivershigh quality, on time design and services projects in the areas of Power, Gas, Fuels & Chemicals, Water and Waste Water, Data Centers, and Mining including everything Mechanically related to Process and Power (from Conventional, Combined Heat and Power, Hydro, Hydrogen, Nuclear, Solar/Renewable, LNG, Ammonia, Fertilizer) projects to specialized Air Quality Control, HVAC, Fire Protection, Piping, Thermal and Renewable performance estimating and testing.
_The Thermal Performance team at Black & Veatch supports EPC projects and many different types of Services projects including technical selections, feasibility and conceptual design studies, equipment procurement, and performance testing for conventional and emerging technology power plants ensuring high standards and innovative solutions for clients. The U.S. based group has a staff of 15 professionals located in several locations around the country including Atlanta; Boston; Houston; Nashville; Paramus, NJ; Raleigh and the world headquarters in Overland Park, KS._
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 10 or more years of experience in the electric power industry, specifically experience in thermal power generation.
+ Experience in owner's engineering design reviews of electric power projects.
+ Experience with performance testing of thermal energy plants.
+ Detailed understanding of power station operation and maintenance.
+ Excellent technical communication and writing skills.
+ Familiarity with design codes and standards.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. **This is full-time onsite position for an on-going project in Staten Island, NY.**
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Implementing the requirements of AECOM's Construction Manager's (CM) EHS Management Plan (EHSMP) and Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHASP).
+ Support the CM in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in accordance with Client standards.
+ Support the CM in conducting various training for CM staff including new employee orientations, visitor orientations and Emergency Action Plan training.
+ Review all EHS related submittals by the Contractors, including, but not limited to, EHASPs, JHAs, monthly reports, asbestos/lead/mercury/PCB management and sampling plans, waste management plans, soil re-use, hazardous waste contingency plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPP) to verify comprehensive oversight of all site activities.
+ Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with the Contractor's EHS Representative (EHSR), and other project management personnel as appropriate, to ascertain and discuss upcoming construction related activity EHS activities.
+ Conduct frequent construction site visits.
+ Track and monitor the Contractor's compliance with EHASP(s) and JHA(s).
+ Track and monitor all site EHSRs' performance including, but not limited to, reviewing the EHSR's daily reports and whether EHS issues are being adequately addressed.
+ Perform and submit daily reports of the Contractors' Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
+ Review Contractor's incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.
+ Submit EHS monthly status reports and metrics. Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor EHS performance.
+ Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with Client staff.
+ Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e., EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space).

AECOM is seeking Safety, Health & Environmental Site Officer II based in New York, New York office.
This is full-time onsite position for an on-going project in Staten Island, NY.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Implementing the requirements of AECOM's Construction Manager's (CM) EHS Management Plan (EHSMP) and Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHASP).
* Support the CM in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in accordance with Client standards.
* Support the CM in conducting various training for CM staff including new employee orientations, visitor orientations and Emergency Action Plan training.
* Review all EHS related submittals by the Contractors, including, but not limited to, EHASPs, JHAs, monthly reports, asbestos/lead/mercury/PCB management and sampling plans, waste management plans, soil re-use, hazardous waste contingency plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPP) to verify comprehensive oversight of all site activities.
* Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with the Contractor's EHS Representative (EHSR), and other project management personnel as appropriate, to ascertain and discuss upcoming construction related activity EHS activities.
* Conduct frequent construction site visits.
* Track and monitor the Contractor's compliance with EHASP(s) and JHA(s).
* Track and monitor all site EHSRs' performance including, but not limited to, reviewing the EHSR's daily reports and whether EHS issues are being adequately addressed.
* Perform and submit daily reports of the Contractors' Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
* Review Contractor's incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.
* Submit EHS monthly status reports and metrics. Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor EHS performance.
* Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with Client staff.
* Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e., EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space).

Minimum Requirements
* BA/BS in Safety, Engineering or related degree and 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
* CHST and/or ASP certification.
* OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course.

As an Environmental Field Technician for Tetra Tech SWE, you will be responsible for collecting environmental samples, completing operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for environmental remediation systems, recording field measurements and data at landfills and industrial facilities, sampling and inspecting landfill gas and liquids collection and control systems, conducting specialized testing, and performing maintenance activities at our Client's facilities. The majority of these facilities are located in New York and New Jersey. Plan and perform office, testing, or field assignments working largely independently. * Plan and prepare for various work assignments, maintain field and test equipment, document field services, and perform field monitoring and analyses in accordance with Tetra Tech SWE-established protocols. * Operate field equipment and construction equipment. * Work at landfills, hazardous waste sites, contaminated sites, and/or other sites where heavy equipment, contamination, or other health hazards may exist.Assist with technical research as required. * Provide construction services as required. * Perform other assignments as requested by management. *
Implement and direct safe work practices on field assignments. * Support management in project assignments. * Occasional overnight travel may be required. * Work effectively and efficiently as both a team and solely. * Walk long distances, up and down steeply sloped landfills and outdoor terrain. * Work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely. * Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a non-consistent basis. * Pass a company paid, baseline health physical and drug screening, as required. * Workload may be erratic, though mostly 40 hours/week. * Other duties as needed. Required Qualifications: * Minimum High School Diploma and 1 year of general working experience. * Preferred A.S. or B.S Degree in environmental science or other natural science (geology, biology, ecology, etc.). * OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred with current eight-hour OSHA HAZWOPER refresher preferred. * Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude required * Ability to learn and work with complex field monitoring equipment including but not limited to flame-ionization detectors (FIDs), photo-ionization detectors (PIDs), explosive gas detectors, water level detectors PH/temperature/conductivity meters, and other typical environmental monitoring equipment. * Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions * Ability to learn general groundwater, soil gas, soil, and air sampling techniques including applicable environmental and health & safety regulations and regulatory requirements. * Ability to be familiar with operations and maintenance techniques for landfill gas and landfill fluids collection systems. * Ability to build and retain mutual relationships with clients. * Some heavy equipment operation, HDPE pipe fusion experience a plus. The employee must be able to work in personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirator (on rare occasions) and must have physical clearance for PPE. *Ability to drive and operate a vehicle. An annual medical exam may be necessary based on the work assignment. Physical Requirements: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk and is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. * The employee may work in the field for extended periods and may require extended travel away from home. * Regularly requires sitting for extended periods while driving or riding in a vehicle; occasional standing and walking throughout the project site environment. * Regularly required to stand and walk during field assignments, including walking on uneven terrain and steep slopes (3:1 or 2:1 grade). * Must be able to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50+ lbs occasionally. * Requires specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; extended computer screen use is necessary. Outdoor work will involve potential exposure to various physical and chemical hazards of varying degree and type. This will include work under heat and cold stress and other adverse environmental conditions. Occasional office-based work typically involves low hazard exposure, though noise levels may vary depending on nearby activities or equipment. * Hearing protection may be necessary. Work may involve the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator, and the employee must have physical clearance for PPE. * Travel between sites or offices may be required, with employees expected to operate vehicles safely under varying weather, traffic, and environmental conditions.
