We are seeking a seasoned Executive Security Specialist to support a dynamic corporate protection
provides close protection and secure transportation to senior executives
operating in complex and high-visibility environments.
The role requires advanced capability in protective operations, threat assessment, and advance
planning, with an emphasis on proactive risk identification and mitigation. The agent will coordinate closely with Executive Protection, Intelligence, and Corporate Security leadership, as well as external partners, to ensure operational continuity and a seamless security posture across all areas of travel and engagement.
Core responsibilities include conducting protective advances, managing secure transport logistics,
maintaining situational awareness through active intelligence monitoring, and implementing strategic protection plans aligned with enterprise threat intelligence and safety objectives.
Ideal candidates will possess a background in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or
intelligence operations, with demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment under
pressure. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to integrate within a multidisciplinary protection and intelligence framework.
Familiarity with healthcare systems and executive operations within regulated environments is preferred. This is a full-time position based at the Oakland, CA headquarters, requiring periodic travel in support of executive operations and participation in ongoing training and readiness programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Executive Protection: Ensure the safety and well-being of senior executives. This will involve conducting comprehensive site surveys/advances to evaluate potential security threats and implementing suitable countermeasures. Additionally, the Executive Security Specialist will oversee logistical aspects such as transportation, accommodations, and venue security to facilitate the smooth and secure movement of executives during events and travel. In certain instances, collaboration with local law enforcement agencies and external security providers will be necessary to establish effective communication channels.
Executive Travel: Accountable for overseeing executive travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally, throughout events and corporate offices. This entails devising and executing security protocols and procedures, liaising with local law enforcement agencies and security consultants, and working closely with a team of executive protection specialists to safeguard executives during their travels.
Collaboration: The Executive Security Specialist will collaborate with other departments, stakeholders, or vendors to ensure that the executive protection program aligns with the overall security strategy of the company. This may include working with Executive Staff, HR, Legal, and IT departments to ensure that security policies and procedures are properly integrated into the company's overall operations.
Administrative Activities: Completing required compliance documents, mandatory company trainings, vendor access requirements.
Professional Training and Development: Completing recertification training, participating in advanced skills training as directed, pursuing new product training, advancing qualifications.
Financial Responsibilities: Minor financial management for regional allotment, under supervision and approval from the Director of Executive Protection.

Minimum Qualifications
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with executives, colleagues, and external parties. Executive Support Specialist must be capable of providing clear instructions, maintaining open lines of communication, and defusing tense situations using effective communication, and de-escalation techniques.
Discretion and Confidentiality: Demonstrated the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality is vital in this role. Executive Support Specialist must exercise discretion in all interactions and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the executives they protect.
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent. Additional relevant education or training in law enforcement, security management, risk assessment, or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in executive protection, close protection, or a related field (physical security will not be considered as experience)
Licenses/Training: California BSIS Security Guard Card & Exposed Firearms Permit, BLS First Aid/AED Adult & Children
Training: Completion of Recognized Executive Protection training academy/program. Acceptable training academies include Gavin de Becker, AUS, PFC, R.L. Oatman, EPI, Gov/Military/LEO PSD training programs
Skills/Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency in utilizing communication software such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word. Strong report writing, including the development of security planning documents, country reports, and risk assessments
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree
Work Experience: Combination of at least 6 years demonstrating expertise in executive protection and close protection is desired. Previous experience in a corporate or healthcare environment is highly valued
Licenses/Training: In addition to the minimum experience requirements: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Evasion Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC), CA Concealed Carry Permit (CCW) Tactical Emergency Casualty Care of Combat (TECCC/TCCC) and PMI training is highly preferred

JOB SUMMARY: The Healthcare Training Manager's role is to plan, coordinate and deliver training and staff development programs in assigned Healthcare Facilities for Security Officers, Supervisors and other employees with the goal of ensuring the physical and personal security and safety of staff, members, and visitors at the assigned Healthcare Facility.

Responsibilities/ Duties:
Present training materials and information using a variety of instructional techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, lectures, computer-based or through other creative avenues
Provide an atmosphere in which all Client staff, members and visitors know that the Client responds to and cares about their needs; provide a courteous, respectful and pleasant interaction with each client staff, member and/or visitor; presents a good image of BCI, the Client and its Security Department. Maintain and display good public relations skills when interacting with staff, members and visitors.
Organize and develop training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
Evaluate training materials, modes of training delivery, and training content, and amend and revise programs as necessary, to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment, identified gaps, or new regulations
Research and remain current in all Federal and state-wide mandatory training requirements to meet company compliance efforts
Communicate with and support management in achieving training and development objectives and goals for training
Learn Healthcare facility-specific procedures and policies
Read and interpret documents such as police reports, local and state law, instructions and procedure manuals
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Design, plan, organize training programs, policies and training schedules for employees on common and specialized security subjects in accordance with all legal, contractual and company mandated requirements
Maintain training records and prepare statistical reports to evaluate performance of training activities and instructors.

Essential Functions
Observing and remaining vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
Patrolling on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals.
Verbally and physically de-escalating individuals, as needed
Inspecting all security devices and fire control equipment
Screening members, visitors, and client employees to expedite their admittance to the facility
Responding to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, or inclement weather with calm urgency
