Regional System Administrator

About the Role:
The Regional System Administrator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Hospital and Medical Office security systems and technology integration. This support includes consulting, assisting & tracking master system architecture for local Security Administration teams in order to achieve logical collective implementation. Provide Contractor/Local Security support for programming or bringing systems into operations. Maintain Security System Server Software Licensing. Provide liaison for Local Security and Systems designers and manufactures. Ensure design/construction projects are consistent with industry best practices as well as National Security Standards and National Facilities design Standards, scope, schedule and budgets. Reinforces the direction of Client Systems, and develops relationships with IT, Local Security & Contractors to maintain system efficiencies.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
System Planning & Standardization: Assists in the development and facilitate the implementation of the global electronic security system. Development includes concepts, standardization, system topology design, delivery model standards, space allocation, budgeting, installation, and training of staff, operations and maintenance.
New Construction & System Expansion: Provide security program monitoring for new construction and Plant, Maintenance and Renovation (PM&R). Facilitate security consulting and coordination with Facilities, Design and Planning, Security Consultants, IT, as well as quality assurance for the implementation of standards during project management activity.
Product Evaluation: Assists in the evaluation of products, programs and services relating to security systems, or other related interests. Review the viability, cost effectiveness, feature comparison, usability, and deployment ability of each product or service.
IT Interface: Act as an interface to the IT department to ensure the needs of both Security and IT are represented and resolved.
Reporting
Generate administrative & investigative reports on demand
Run specific audit reports on demand
Assist with Video clip and image recovery when required
Troubleshooting & Technical Assistance
Provide technical & troubleshooting support, coordinate problem tracking and resolution
Coordinate with customer IT department to assist with resolution of IT related problems
Maintain a log of outstanding hardware and software issues
Consult technical projects that may have global or interdepartmental impact.

Verify that all correct services are running
Manage database transaction and error logs

Program and manage all Card Holder ID data and fields so that everyone is unique in the data base.
All Security Technology systems should be online and functional; 98% of systems shall be online
Manage old equipment to be budgeted and replaced when it has reached its End-of-Life
Routine testing shall be done on all systems and facilities
At minimum, annual testing of an entire technology stack.
Qualifications
At least 2 years managing a security access control and video surveillance systems and security systems engineering.
10 years of systems administration experience, with more that 5 years in security systems technology management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server and Client Operating Systems.
A good understanding of Data Bases (MS SQL)
A good understanding of low voltage security systems networking technologies.
A good understanding of cyber security and experience in remediation of cyber security threats.
Lenel Security Systems certified.

Responsibilities
* Maintains storerooms, shelves, loading docks, and walk in coolers by properly laying out and rotating products.
* Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, vehicles, or shelves.
* Provides a variety of products to other personnel as they are needed.

* At least 3 months experience that evidences a working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning processes.
* Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients.
* Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
* Must be able to be on your feet for 11 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation.
* Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote situation.
* Employees to speak, understand, read and write English.

* Prior janitorial/custodian experience preferred.
