Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work).
Experience: Three (3) years of experience within a Children's Assured Safety and Stabilization Program (CASSP) system, including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS).
Requirements: All necessary clearances and a valid driver's license are mandatory.

Description of Services
The Behavioral Health Worker will be responsible for implementing mental health treatment and crisis intervention for children and families through the Clinical Home model. This position also includes providing psycho-educational groups for youth and/or families, intensive case management service to children and families, and supporting clients with one-on-one interventions in the school, home, and community to support the overall mental health goals of the childs treatment plan. Behavioral Health
Workers will attend weekly supervision and consultation deemed appropriate as well as frequent participation in trainings.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct behavioral interventions and teach client-specific skills. This may include individual/group interventions, psycho-education groups, and assisting in crisis intervention to identified children and families within the school system as well as in the home and community.
2. Maintain a collaborative relationship with the parent/guardian of each client.
3. Collect and update data related to clients record.
4. Implement individualized crisis plans for each client and family. Work with treatment team to help neutralize crises.
5. Participate in on-call crisis intervention triage as needed during evenings, nights, and weekends.
Assist in debriefing of crisis situations to develop more effective plans for families served.
6. Attend and actively participate in weekly group supervision.
7. Document and complete daily case records required and in compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
8. Attend all trainings and workshops as required for professional development.
9. Provide Structural Family Therapy interventions for children and families as directed.
Case Management Responsibilities:
1. Provide intensive case management to children and families that include addressing needs that negatively impact the familys level of functioning.
2. Participate in Interagency meetings as deemed appropriate.
3. Participate in Individualized Educational Plans as deemed appropriate.
4. Complete required reports to Child line and other agencies involved, as necessary.
5. Work in collaboration with Program Director, Clinical Consultant, Administrative Staff, Quality
Assurance Department, and the billing department to assist in the process of monitoring quality assurance and other protocols necessary to effectively manage programmatic aspects.
6. Maintain high quality records sufficient to meet State and Federal clinical documentation requirements that include all funding sources.
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Human Services related field.

All necessary child abuse clearances (PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and Federal Criminal History Clearance)
Valid drivers license

The goal of the Blended Case Management Program is to provide assistance and empowerment to consumers with a serious Mental Illness or emotional disturbance and their families in gaining access to larger systems, both formal and informal, to improve quality of life and expand an often limited, localized worldview and orientation.
Blended Case Management Services provided will include developing a partnership with the individual to assess needs, obtain services and resolve crises. Through this partnership the individual andcase managerwork together to plan, coordinate, monitor and advocate for the services and supports needed to achieve the individual's goals.
In order to effectively implement this process, the Case Manager must attend to the total spectrum of client needs, including but not limited to family relationships, medical needs, education, finances, employment, health, and recreation.
Duties and responsibilities
BCM will provide all Components of case management:
Complete client assessments in order to determine service needs, including activities that focus on determining the need for any medical, educational, social, or other services.
Development of a specific Service Plan based on the strengths and needs information collected through the assessment
Help the eligible individual obtain needed services. This includes activities that help link the individual with medical, social and educational providers or other programs and services that are capable of providing services that address identified needs and assist with achieving goals specified in the Service Plan.
Monitoring and Follow up on activities and contacts that are necessary to ensure that the Service plan is effectively implemented and adequately addresses the needs of the individual.
Coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
Help clients achieve wellness and autonomy
Help clients make informed decisions by acting as their advocate regarding their clinical status and treatment options
Develop effective working relations and cooperate with team throughout the entire case management process
Take the extra mile and interact with clients to keep track of their progress and to ensure satisfaction
Record all case information, complete all necessary forms accurately and within necessary time frames
Adhere to professional standards as outlined in Policies and Procedures
Advocating for needed services; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crises.
Communicates clients' progress by participating in meetings to discuss strengths, needs, results and obstacles with team and/or family.
Supporting the client while preparing for a transition such as discharge or referral to another service or program where appropriate.

Each family is provided a prompt intake appointment to develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to the unique strengths and needs of the child and family. In
addition to offering traditional treatment methods, such as Play Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral
Therapy, we have specialized programming to deliver evidence-based practice models. Outpatient
clinicians must follow the rules and regulations set forth by Blair Family Solutions, any payer they accept
for payment of service and any state and/or federal guidelines.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities
Complete a thorough assessment of emotional, psycho-social and eco-systemic issues that pertain to
the emotional struggles of the client.
Demonstrate the ability to actively engage the client and family in the treatment process through the
use of reflective listening, collaboration, empathy and consideration of cultural, ethnic and religious
beliefs.
Provide a diagnosis for each identified client by utilizing diagnostic criteria from the DSMV.
Complete a drug and alcohol screening within the required timeframe and complete any necessary
follow-up or referrals.
Complete an insurance registration form for CCBH clients within the required timeframe.
Identify strengths and utilize a strengths based approach in treatment.
develop a treatment plan within the required timeframe and review it with client/family to ensure it
captures the client/family concerns
Review the treatment plan as required, review it with the client/family and get signatures.
Assure that ongoing communication and collaboration occurs among all treatment team members as
well as family members as appropriate.
Make referrals to other programs or outside agencies when necessary due to need of another level of
care or to augment outpatient service.
Attend and participate in supervision as required.
Attend and participate in trainings required by Blair Family Solutions and to meet the requirement of
their license when needed.
Remain abreast of new techniques and research supporting specific interventions and best practice.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Work with front desk staff regarding scheduling to ensure that client needs are met.
Complete a progress note for each session and submit billing information in a timely manner.
Achieve the expected amount of billable and non-billable hours, including summer months.
Provide clinical leadership to the treatment team and family.
Monitor psychotropic medication within the scope of practice and collaborate with prescribing doctors
as needed.
Complete required reports to Child line and other agencies involved as necessary.
Work in collaboration with Program Director, Clinical Consultant, Administrative Staff, Quality
Assurance Department, and the billing department to assist in the process of monitoring quality
assurance and other protocols necessary to effectively manage programmatic aspects.
Maintain high quality records sufficient to meet State and Federal clinical documentation requirements
that include all funding sources. Billing should be reviewed prior to being turned in to billers to ensur
that records are accurate.
Check mailbox, voicemail and email on a frequent basis and respond promptly when asked both to
internal and external sources.
Education Requirements
One of the following:
1) Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized
by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
(CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinic
practicum.
2) OR has an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the
Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) or the National Association of
Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). The Department will accept a general equivalency
report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
Other Qualifications
All necessary child abuse clearances (PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance,
and Federal Criminal History Clearance)
Valid driver's license
