FIELD OPERATIONS COACH FULL-TIME, (40+ WEEKLY HOURS) EXEMPT LEVEL POSITION The Field Operations Coach role is to observe, diagnose, and assist stores with action plans on store operations. This role will also be an integral part of the New Store Opening team, the Manager in Training program, specifically the leadership development side and creating a Certified Training Store. The Field Operations Coach will use store visits to coach and teach all members of the team on Blake's processes and procedures. Ultimately, it is the duty of the Field Operations Coach to coach the stores to run cleaner, safer, and more efficiently by providing feedback and following upon actionable items. The Field Operations Coach works along with the Operations Team and reports to the Operations Services Manager.
Essential Functions:

The Field Staffing Specialist (FSS) partners with store hiring managers to engage and hire the best talent in a highly competitive market. · Utilize LinkedIn, Indeed, and NM Workforce Solutions to identify and engage active and passive candidates
· Spend time out of the office finding and sourcing passive candidates currently working in the restaurant industry
· Review previous applicants in Landed and R365 Hire that missed scheduled interviews or who were not previously contacted and reach out to these candidates to (re)schedule interviews with store hiring managers or the FSS
· Maintain accurate and organized candidate records, documentation, and applicant tracking system (ATS) data to ensure compliance
· Daily, engage with a minimum of 10 candidates through cold calls or reaching out to previous applicants in R365 to ensure that Blake's is not relying solely on active candidates applying through the career website
· Maintain daily logs detailing cold calls, candidate sourcing through Landed & R365, in-person/online/phone interviews, candidate pipeline, candidate onboarding process, and daily hires
· Provide weekly summary reports to Senior Operations Manager based on the daily logs; due on by end of day on Wednesdays
· Onsite hiring in new store openings as directed by the Senior Operations Manager
· Occasional overnight travel with Operations Managers to out of town markets
· Weekly schedule required: Monday & Friday: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

The DM is also responsible for monitoring sales and controllable costs in their assigned district (i.e. food and labor cost) and providing guidance to GMs regarding staffing, proper enforcement of policies and procedures, meeting sales/food/labor targets and new product rollouts. DMs work with GMs to increase sales volume in their areas and are required to regularly audit stores in their district to preserve consistent company brand standards. DMs report to a Regional Manager or directly to the Director of Field Management.
Essential Functions:

- Demonstrate the highest level of customer service any time DM comes into contact with customers by being polite and friendly, (especially when handling complaints) and require all store-level employees to do the same.

- Address GM and crew member conduct through enforcement of company policies and procedures by coaching, appropriate discipline and if necessary, discharge. Seek assistance regarding any employee relations or disciplinary issues through your direct report and HR Department.
- The DM must have an expert-level knowledge of appropriate recruiting and interviewing techniques. Must be proactive and consistently hire qualified, skilled applicants, thereby avoiding crisis hiring, and building a strong bench.
- Assist with training and development of all crew members to allow for proper succession planning of future shift, assistant and general managers; provide feedback on performance with all crew members.
- Implement and monitor the Blakes Lotaburger training program in stores for management staff and crew members.
- Work with Regional Manager/Director of Field Management to plan tailored ways to increase sales within the specific market, and optimize food and labor costs to meet targets.

Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):
- Ideal candidate will have a college degree in management or comparable experience, plus three or more years of restaurant management experience.
