The FieldService Paving Technician (Night Shift) assumes a high level of responsibility early and work on some of the most advanced and hardest working machines in the world. Successful FieldServiceTechnicians are fast learners, self-motivated and independent workers. They have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions. FieldServiceTechnicians receive intensive training in troubleshooting, technical procedures, and safety.
Training Schedule: Train for 1 Week,
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Available Shift Option:
Monday - Thursday: 4 days, 10 hours each, from 4 PM to 3 AM
Tuesday - Friday: 4 days, 10 hours each, from 4 PM to 3 AM
Sunday - Thursday: 8:00 pm to 4:00 am

Responsibilities
Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.
Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of all types mechanical and hydraulic- and diesel-powered equipment, including; diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, winches, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, air compressors, microprocessor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, PTO's, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, A/C systems etc.
Perform inspections and test equipment for proper operation.
Install and/or repair new or reconditioned parts.
Complete paperwork, including parts requisitions/returns, timecards, and service reports.
Utilize diagnostic equipment and systems to assist in repairs.
Maintain service truck and all equipment on the service truck.
Ensure total customer service through direct customer interactions.
Represent Blanchard Machinery by consistently exhibiting a professional manner, arriving on time and communicating with the customer throughout the repair process.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of heavy equipment experience required.
Previous experience on CAT equipment is a plus.
Must demonstrate knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, operating and maintenance service manuals.
Possess advanced working knowledge of equipment operation and associated operating systems.
Ability to work with minimal supervision required.
Ability to operate lifting devices.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment
Familiarization of electronic cables, connections, and sensors
Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills are required.
A demonstrated commitment to accuracy, organization and ability to prioritize tasks is required.
Possess strong problem solving skills, have the ability to set and keep priorities and be able to handle stress associated with a fast paced environment and deadlines.
Working Conditions
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside (non-climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.
Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
Physical use of a broad variety of tools and machines in order to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Perform aerial construction activities such as installing aerial fiber and fiber storage (snow shoes)

Complete production reports
Dig holes, work with hand tools, restore landscaping
Lay fiber innerduct and pull fiber through existing ducts

We are seeking an **Electronics Technician 4** to join our **Security and Electronic Systems (SES)** business Unit. As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory
+ Leading teams on Large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
+ Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
+ Installing and Maintain equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
+ Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
+ Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
+ Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
+ Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create,
+ Document and Track RFIs.
+ Design assist and feedback
+ Documenting daily reports and project progress.
+ Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
+ Create and manage Project schedule Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
+ Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates
+ Guide and Mentor Technicians
Qualifications

+ Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy
**Education:**
+ HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
+ Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
+ Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
+ An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
**Required Progressive Experience:**
+ 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
+ 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
+ Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
+ Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
+ Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
+ Must be able to travel 50%.
