Under the direction and supervision of the physician the CMA is to carry out any duties delegated and requested by the midlevel provider and physician which does not exceed the scope of their practice and certification by the state.
This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This skilled team has experience working with many types of impairments resulting from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, arthritis, stroke, fractures, multiple trauma, neuromuscular disease and other orthopedic/neurologic diagnoses.
Our nursing staff is a combination of RN#s, C.
N.
A#s and Unit Secretaries.
We work collaboratively with the Rehab Physiatrist, patients and their support systems, therapy staff, social workers, discharge planners, chaplains and dietitians.
Our average daily census is approximately 13 patients and our average length of stay for our patients is approximately 13 days.
We offer intensive Rehabilitation nursing 7 days per week 24 hours per day and the emphasis is maximizing the patient#s health and independence.
This position is responsible for providing assistance with patient care activities and non-nursing tasks under the direct supervision of the RN and in cooperation with other nursing staff.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including child through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.
It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.
