Assist in the administration and activities of the ACGME accredited fellowship training program in neonatal-perinatal medicine.
Perform patient assessment and treatment, monitor vital signs, managing complex medical situations, family communication, collaboration with healthcare team (NICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists) to develop and carry out a comprehensive care plan for each infant; perform procedures
Attend high-risk deliveries requiring expertise in delivery room resuscitation and stabilization anticipated events.
Actively participate in daily patient rounds, medical records documentation of patient status, admission H and P, daily progress notes, procedure notes, medication reconciliation. and discharge summaries.
Perform NICU attending on clinical service with rotations in the NICU, on-site night and, week-end day or night calls in rotation with the other NICU attendings, possible, high risk follow-up/developmental clinics, and conducting neonatal critical care transports.
Serve as supervising physician in the residency training program teaching and supervising residents and participating in the interviews/recruitment, mentoring and evaluation of residents.
Participate in any of a range of scholarly activities such as clinical research with potential for reviewed publications and or extramural grant support necessary for eligibility for academic advancement.
Participate in the teaching and supervision of medical students, health related professions students and staff. Engagement in administrative and committee work as institutional service is also expected and necessary for academic advancement.
Participate in the Clinical Practice Management Plan of the Department Pediatrics as a billing provider or contracted service provider.
Required Qualifications
New York State Medical Licensure.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Responsibilities
Design, deploy and maintain Scientific Computing's computational and data science ecosystem including ~30,000 cores with high bandwidth, low latency interconnects, GPUs, large shared memory nodes, databases, scientific workflows and 30+ petabytes of storage in production, clinical data warehouse and software development environment.
Lead the troubleshooting, isolation and resolution of all technical issues including application, system, hardware, software, and network). Actively monitors the systems.

Maintain all necessary aspects of HPC in accordance with best practices. Develops and implements backup policies.
Prepares and manages budgets for hardware, software and maintenance. Participates in chargeback/fee recovery analysis and provides suggestions to make operations sustainable.
Assists in developing and writing system design for research proposals. Creates and provides clear documentation.
Works effectively and productively with other team members within the group and across Mount Sinai.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Provides after hours support for critical system and production issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or another scientific field. Master's or PhD preferred

Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Dean serves as a key leader in the College of Arts and Design. The Associate Dean plays a vital role in advancing the mission and vision of the College of Arts and Design.
Responsibilities Course Schedule and Workload Management
Process course schedules from departments, present for Dean approval, and submit to the Registrar.
Facilitate schedule changes, instructor assignments, and prepare low‑enrollment reports for review.
Calculate departmental workload credit based on submitted schedules and manage College‑wide workload assignments.
Verify accuracy of faculty workloads, monitor updates, and prepare proposals for workload adjustments for submission by the Dean.
Curriculum Revision and Accreditation
Submit curriculum changes to the Registrar, coordinate degree audit configurations, and ensure compliance with graduation requirements.
Prepare NYSED curriculum revision applications as needed and assist in the development of new programs.
Revise undergraduate and graduate bulletins to reflect approved curriculum updates, admissions requirements, and faculty information.
Oversee program accreditation and assist with university accreditation reports.
Faculty and Student Support
Assist the Dean in faculty promotion, tenure, and sabbatical evaluations, compiling reports and student evaluation data.
Mentor and support faculty development, supervision, and evaluation.
Play a key role in student success through recruitment, enrollment, retention, and academic support.
Evaluate transcripts for course substitutions, waivers, and credit transfers.
Administrative Operations and Special Projects
Develop and oversee external partnerships, alternative funding sources, and grant writing.
Collect and interpret data to prepare administrative and financial reports.
Serve as the College's website manager and as the PeopleSoft trainer for new employees.
Provide operational support for events, such as Discovery Day for student research and faculty retreats.
Represent the College at admissions events and other University functions.
Leadership and Strategic Planning
Implement College goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to advance its vision and mission.
Lead new projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Assist the Dean in managing instructional, budgetary, and administrative matters for the College.
Required Qualifications
Terminal degree in a discipline represented in the College (preference for Theatre, Music, Film, Art, Digital Media).
Previous higher education administrative experience as a program director, department chair, assistant dean, or similar role.
Minimum of 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the college/university level, with demonstrated excellence in the classroom.
Strong record of research, scholarship, and professional activity, with publications and presentations in professional venues.
Proficiency with MS Office, data management/analysis, and presentation software.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Collaborative, collegial mindset with the ability to work administratively as part of a productive team.
Authorization to work in the United States without institutional sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in assessment, program development, faculty mentoring, retention strategies, and accreditation.
Expertise in grant writing, strategic planning, and online program development.
Special Information

* Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal as needed
* Support classroom behavior management systems and reinforce school-wide expectations
* Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
* Prepare instructional materials, set up classroom supplies, and complete clerical tasks to support teaching
* Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and coaching
* Provide coverage for other classrooms when necessary
* Support the academic and cultural vision of Amani Charter School
* Communicate positively and professionally with students, families, and staff
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (required)
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
* NYS Teacher Assistant Certification required
* Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)

Qualifications 0-1 years of related experience required. Must have above-average organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be customer-service oriented and possess above-average oral and written communication skills. Previous experience and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to provide own transportation to and from Hofstra University.
