Position Summary
Responsible for driving the mobile vehicle and transporting the mobile staff in a safe and efficient manner. Will demonstrate competencies and must work efficiently as possible in order to reach collection goals established for each mobile location while also following all Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies.

Responsibilities
Transport staff, equipment and supplies in accordance with SOP.
Drive company vehicle in a safe manner.
Load/Unload and set-up and tear down equipment at the mobile site.
Pack supplies and equipment for mobile drives.
Prepares blood and specimen tubes for transport and storage.
Keeps a tally of units of blood and clots donated at mobile sites.
Greets and treats donors and co-workers with respect and courtesy.
Conducts donor registration.
Responsible for converting eligible donors to Double Cell collections.
Observes all work rules and procedures established, which provides for the safety and efficiency of Mobile and Center operations.
Reports donor reactions or any other unusual incidents to the Team Leader.
Stationed at the refreshment area to note and assist with donor reactions.
Can be appointed to escort donors (especially at High Schools) to refreshment area and assist with reaction by ensuring donor safety by guiding donor to the floor, reports incident to Team leader or Phlebotomist for donor treatment.
Attends departmental meetings and training sessions as required and participates in the trial and evaluation of new methods and Donor Services techniques.
May assist the Maintenance Department or Donor Services with delivering supplies or personnel to blood center events, mobile sites or sub-centers.
Performs Automated Lot Release responsibilities, when required.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Position Summary
Under direct supervision by department leadership, performs phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. Interacts with donors and coordinators, providing a high level of customer service to deliver an excellent donation experience. Takes pride in and is committed to delivering high quality services. Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of the team/group. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives. Responsible for driving the mobile drive vehicle and transporting the mobile staff in a safe and efficient manner.

Must have availability from 4:00am-10:00pm, including weekends and holidays
Schedules are posted 2-3 weeks in advance

Additional Bilingual (Spanish) increase available after passing certification exam.

With a valid CDL, may operate mobile drive buses. Following all DOT guidelines, safely transports staff, supplies and equipment and arrives at site on time.

We are looking for someone (like you):
Be a Resident Relations Roadster by meeting resident transportation needs and assisting in safe and timely arrival to appointments.
Be a Maintenance Maven by assisting with maintenance duties and safety needs throughout the community.
Be a Service Superstar by providing first class customer service to community residents in a safe and professional manner.
What are we looking for?
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
You must possess and maintain the specific state-required chauffer class license.
You must have a clean driving record as per the insurance carriers policy.
Experience in senior housing is preferred.
You must be first aid certified.
You will possess clear verbal and written communication skills.
You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items more than 50 pounds.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day, and the use of a ladder is required. Job functions require both indoor and outdoor work, including in periods of inclement weather.
You must be criminally cleared and fidelity bondable.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
Has demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in the areas of leadership and supervision, including time management and organization, as well as the ability to represent and promote activities and programs.
Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

The driver is responsible for driving the Mobile Mammography van to and from places where our patients live and work. Once on site, this person collects information and registers patients for their appointment.
+ Operates hospital vehicle to transport Mammography Technologist and equipment to various sites in a safe manner, adhering to Mercy Health policies and DOT regulations.
+ Completes daily pre check and post check maintenance checklist to ensure van and equipment are in working order. Reports any malfunction of the vehicle to management.
+ Gases vehicle on specified days of the week, maintains cleanliness of van and stocks supplies when necessary.
+ Meets and greets customers. Obtains and verifies patient demographic information and ensures completion of forms to include: copies patient insurance card, Medicare questionnaire, obtain signed consent form and ABN when necessary
**MINIMUM EDUCATION**
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
**LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS** (must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated):
Required: Valid State Driver's License and CDL Class B.
