The Senior Advanced ManufacturingEngineer will work with internal stakeholders and outside contractors to execute projects to support manufacturing scale up. Collaborate with partner groups in development and review of manufacturing process for new products, design changes, or new manufacturing methods.
Recommend, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve efficiency or enhance flexibility of manufacturing operations with a focus on launch site capability.
Partner with leadership, operations and engineering teams to ensure that new equipment projects align with the manufacturing strategy and build plans.
Be accountable to deliver operability, reliability, and functional integrity of automated manufacturing equipment for handover to operations.
Lead facility expansion efforts to support scaling of manufacturing sites, new and existing.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
Minimum of 10 years' experience
Experience and understanding of complex automated manufacturing systems and components (electrical and pneumatic control, PLC and HMI devices, sensors, servo motors, vision systems, and robotics)
Good understanding of supporting processes associated with the operations and maintenance of a production plant.
Experience in manufacturingengineering and plant operations with direct experience in automated production processes, equipment support, and manufacturing best practices.
Proficiency in use of AutoCAD

* Clean driving record and CDL for field assignment, must be at least 21 at time of applying in order to be assigned and operate field vehicle.
* General knowledge of diesel or gas engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
* General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, lap tops, diagnostic software and cranes and rigging equipment.
* May require MSHA certification Education and/or Experience.
* Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
* Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work - Be expected to work same schedule or shift as Senior Field Service Technician assigned to - Will be required at times to work away from home and stay out of town overnight. - At times overtime may be required to meet work and deadline requirements.

Here you'll have an opportunity to work on the following:
Development of parametric CMM programs for families of components by interpreting component blueprints, determining appropriate measurement inspection strategy, GR&R studies, and supplying process correction data.
Design and simulate custom probe sets in CAD in conjunction with process fixture design with process ManufacturingEngineers
Maintain and support CMM machines and programs including support structure for family systems of programs, result reporting, troubleshooting CMM programs and machines, integration into automation and network, and management of network repository of CMM programs and results data.
Work with component design engineering to define best dimensioning scheme around functional need of components/design intent, limitations of GDT, and current measurement technologies

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer Intern to support our project management team. Qualifications

Compensation:
