We are looking for a Project Manager, Customer Installations Group to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director, Global Program Management and will be based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for Commercial and Industrial Fuel Cell deployments requiring direct and/or indirect management of the following:
Following Customer Contract execution, define the baseline schedule and execution strategy to deliver SOW to client.
Manage Cost, Schedule and Risks using project management fundamentals.
Design and construction contract negotiation and fulfillment
Construction and project documentation completion to meet all technical and governmental standards
Regulatory outreach and permit acquisition
Gas and electrical utility interconnection process
Construction bid documents development
Project commissioning
Regularly interface with internal Bloom Energy cross functional resources and subject matter experts.
Participate in Bloom Energy's product offering innovation process
Ensure exemplary safety and performance through specific metrics during site construction and commissioning
Ensure that Bloom Energy customers are 100% satisfied with the product and their site energy server installation experience
Deliver presentations confidently to all project stakeholders, and sell new ideas to Bloom Energy senior leadership and its customer base
30-50% travel to customer sites, as required.
Skills and Experience:
8+ years of project management experience including 2+ years of distributed energy solution experience required. Candidate experience must include management of multiple, schedule constrained, large capital projects with multiple contractors
Renewable energy experience at scales less than 50 MW is strongly preferred.
Project management experience should include management of budgets including fundamental understanding of earned value forecasting, schedules, design contracts, and construction contracts
Experience producing results with gas and electrical utilities and leading local, state and federal permitting efforts is strongly preferred
Extremely organized and can confidently communicate project status and risk mitigation strategies to Bloom Energy senior executive leadership with little notice
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams of subject matter experts strongly preferred
B.S. Engineering: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and/or Mechanical Engineering required though other technical degrees (Construction Mgmt, Architecture, etc.) will be considered.
Project Management Professional certification (PMP) required.- Scheduling software programs: Microsoft Project and/or P6

In this Director-level position, you will serve as a primary attorney for key technology engineering, procurement & supply chain, and manufacturing teams within Bloom Energy and partner with these teams to develop, procure, manufacture and deploy Bloom Energy Servers worldwide.

* Troubleshoot and repair analog and electronically controlled equipment in solid oxide fuel cell Manufacturing
* Perform machine installations or modification per instructions; including running new electrical wire and/or piping as directed.
* Help implement upgrades to machines
* Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment including, but not limited to, lift carts, pallet jacks, welders, metal rollers, Harrington hoists, tuggers, etc.
* Proactively detect, diagnose and repair potential issues using preventative maintenance and inspections tools.
* Maintain and follow preventative maintenance programs with accurate record keeping on CMMS.
* Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.

* Ensure proper Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) compliance
* Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non-compliant activities and keep the shop area clean.
* Safely operate motor vehicles and other mobile equipment including scissor lift, forklift, skid steer, and others as necessary for maintenance.

As a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be a part of the team responsible for setting and delivering the quality and reliability standards for our fuel cell components across Bloom Energy; you will work closely with supply chain and engineering as part of a cross functional team. Ownership of assessment of the capability of potential suppliers - identifies areas for improvement and deliver them on time in relation to Total Quality for selected suppliers.
Assess the manufacturability of new product designs and assist both engineering and suppliers with improving manufacturability. Clear focus on process capability to deliver the lowest total cost.
Manage product and process development including change management with suppliers to meet / exceed business requirements
Drive supplier development / execution and deployment of manufacturing processes that meet the BE requirement.
Review prototype and production part quality document submissions from suppliers, for acceptability. Drive conversion from documentation through product design via engineered practices to deliver consistent / predictability of parts / products. Perform Supplier quality assessments at system and product level including PPAP, GR&R, GD&T.
Provide support to Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering regarding analysis and disposition of suspect supplier material.
Drive continuous improvement throughout the supply base using quality and lean manufacturing tools. Deployment of traditional quality improvements tools / methodology from corrective action to clear roadmaps for improvements systemically / tactically at the suppliers.
Improve supplier quality processes such as assessments, supplier management, part approval, and corrective actions in a global world of connected / sub - tier / partnership relationships.
Participate in Supplier selection and evaluation. Work cross-functionally to establish quality requirements for external suppliers. Update legal contractual language protecting BE's quality interests in relation to lowest Cost of Quality.
Lead high visibility root cause investigations by applying “8D” problem solving to timely conclusion for all identified / potential areas for opportunities to occur
May drive Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (DFMEA/PFMEA); using the output to assess and improve targeted product designs and/or processes.
Education, Skills and Experience:
BS, (or MS or Ph.D.), in one of the following: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science or Physics
Must be able to establish demonstrated technical credibility with the Engineering Staff (internally and with suppliers).
Minimum 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated Quality Management System auditing experience / accreditation
Strong Project/Process Management skills and capabilities particularly in planning, developing, organizing, implementation of Quality processes. Demonstrated ability to hit targets (including reaction to new requirements) delivering First Time Right on Time.

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer - Electrical, with expertise in Electrical Engineering / Power Conversion systems, to lead the transformation of a low-volume, manually assembled Packaged Energy Server (PES) to a semi-automated or fully automated build, ready to scale with the world's increasing power demands. This role will report to the Director, Mfg Engineering and is based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Serve as the technical authority for the electrical interfaces and design for manufacturing (DFM) of the Bloom Energy PES. Drive the deployment of scalable, cost-effective, and reliable electrical DFM solutions.
* Interface with Product Development (Electrical), Compliance, Quality, Testing and other organizations to execute PES initiatives that are aligned with business goals.
* Influence and support the full lifecycle of the product from Design Review through Commissioning and Handover.
* Engineer and develop creative solutions to meet current and future customer needs. Prepare all the documentation needed for a smooth and efficient roll-out of the manufacturing solution.
* Be an agent for continuous improvement, as a key member of the product change control process.
* Use electrical engineering expertise to identify and evaluate product designs for product reliability and serviceability at the point of use.
* Champion the collection, analysis and review of key data/metrics to aid in the development of future product design(s).
Skills and Experience:
* BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field required. Master's degree a plus.
* 2 - 5 years' experience working in a Manufacturing or Industrial Environment.
* Experience with DFM, Design of Experiments (DOE), Product Lifecycle (PLC) Development
* Proven proficiency with CAD, Programming, Data Analysis and Visualization Software. (e.g. Solidworks, Labview, JMP, Minitab, MS Office Suite, etc.).
* Experience working with power conversion equipment to include Inverters, Rectifiers, Converters, etc.
* Understanding of communication protocols to include CAN Bus, Mod Bus, etc.
* Experience developing electrical test fixtures in a lab and or industrial environment.
* Familiarity with the Power Generation market.

* Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.

Department Overview
The Revenue Manufacturing department is responsible for the efficient and timely assembly of products in accordance with quality standards and production schedules. It plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational success.
Position Responsibilities
* Assist in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and control panels for manufacturing equipment.
* Work with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial automation systems to enhance production efficiency.
* Support the installation, calibration, and maintenance of sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
* Analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and energy efficiency initiatives.
* Conduct research and propose automation solutions to optimize manufacturing operations.
* Assist in documentation, including wiring diagrams, test reports, and standard operating procedures.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical and automation tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
* Currently a student earning a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027.

Desired Qualifications
* Familiarity with electrical circuits, motor controls, and industrial automation.
* Basic understanding of PLC's, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems. Electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and robotics.
* Experience with Autocad, Solidworks, and MS Office suite.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
