- Represent Engineering & CTO Finance on firmwide transformation programs working closely with the stakeholders.
- Turn data into decision and action-ready insights: frame choices, quantifying trade-offs, and recommend actions for CFOs and business leaders-while modernizing reporting and allocations through automation.
- Automate and create efficiencies for periodic reporting and analysis to create operating leverage and free capacity for strategic support
- Create efficiencies in cross-functional and inter-department reporting: automate and streamline recurring work using tools like Alteryx; design robust data models and taxonomies in close partnership with stakeholders
- Automate and bring transparency to Engineering and CTO allocations by analyzing and breaking down current processes and creating lineage reporting for allocations from senders to receivers; challenge methodologies and improve for stronger financial compliance.
You'll need to have:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in finance and/or technology within complex organizations.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in finance, engineering, or math).
- Demonstrated transformation or product management experience.
- A systems thinker with a builder's bias-comfortable moving between architecture, data, and process details.
- Proven process automation & BI expertise; experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau (or similar), and comfort with data modeling and taxonomy design.
- A strong sense for UX in dashboards/tools-able to simplify complex models into decision-ready views.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management; confident presenting to CFOs and business leaders and translating technical details into clear decisions.
- Solid grasp of engineering financial planning/analysis, allocations, and cost drivers.
- A track record of building repeatable, controlled processes with documentation, testing, and change control.
- High ownership, crisp prioritization, and a strong sense of where automation and standardization create leverage.
- Ability to collaborate across the organization to align on outcomes and the roadmap.
