The Central Processing Technician is responsible for ensuring proper care, sterilization, packaging, and disbursement of hospital equipment and supplies. The Central Processing Technician demonstrates good knowledge of principles and practices of aseptic technique.

Essential Job Functions:
Cleans instruments according to manufacturer's directions to prepare them for sterilization
Collects and/or receives linen, trays, and other supplies used in daily operation of a hospital and disposes of according to standard protocols
Operates and maintains steam autoclaves and immediate use steam sterilizers and maintains daily logs
Packages and wraps equipment and supplies in accordance with prescribed sterile procedures
Organizes and assembles routine and specialty surgical instrument trays
Keeps records of all quality checks and participates in quality assurance activities as assigned
Starts equipment and observes gauges and equipment operation to detect malfunctions and to ensure equipment is functioning properly
Reports defective equipment to materials management and immediate supervisor in a timely fashion
Checks sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdated
Maintains storage rooms in a neat and orderly manner according to regulatory guidelines
Maintains and distributes an adequate supply of instruments
Makes sound clinical decisions affecting the operations in central processing
Regular and prompt work-site attendance

Qualifications, Knowledge & Ability:
Certification with the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management is preferred, or must be obtained within one year of hire
Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.

Perform assigned site checks per week at designated THS location(s). These checks may be split between multiple staff members per location.
Site checks to include the following:
Complete inspection of the physical space to ensure residents are in compliance with House Rules and Extended Supervision terms set by the Department of Corrections (DOC); including verifying they are within property limits, performing household maintenance, participating in lawn care and snow removal responsibilities, visitation policies, non-possession of contraband and maintenance of a drug, alcohol, and crime-free living environment.

INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS
POSITION: A full-time, professional academic staff position is available in Intercollegiate Athletics beginning August 1, 2025. The working title for this assignment is Assistant Sports Information Director with an official title of Communications Specialist. This is a renewable assignment, contingent on performance and funding. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all daily operations of the Sports Information office.
Handle primary contact responsibilities for multiple sports.
Provide media and campus promotion groups with information (pictures, film clips, biographies, updated statistics, game schedules, etc.) on all assigned sports.
Provide or oversee game day coverage for all assigned athletic teams (media preparations, announcing, official scoring, game rosters and programs, and reporting scores to media).
Specific priority towards enhancing the department's branding initiatives through social media, graphic design, and video work.
Nominating and publicizing student-athletes for various awards, honors, and special recognitions.
Training and supervising student workers and game-day staff.
Knowledge and ability to handle PrestoStats, NCAA Genius LiveStats and Gymnastics Virtius for in-game stats, and maintaining statistical information for teams.
Knowledge and ability to create content with Adobe Creative Cloud software (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere).
Extensive night and weekend hours of coverage as needed.
Assume other duties as agreed upon by the Sports Information Director and Athletics Director.
Assist with:
Coordination of media credential requests.
Arranging interviews with coaches, student-athletes, or other staff members.
Helping with the promotion of home events and fundraisers.
Developing and implementing creative media/public relations strategies.
Assist in the coordination of all publicity and communications for a complex and diversified 25-sport module.
Developing, maintaining, and enhancing a strategically utilized website.
Coordination of all aspects of media coverage for home events, utilizing modern technology to accommodate media productions.
Producing video content for website and coordination of live video streaming.
Producing editorial content for fundraising flyers, brochures, print advertising, radio promos, and other campus publications that promote intercollegiate athletics and related activities.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provides project management and execution of communications programs, initiatives, and tactical plans
Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns
Communicates with stakeholders to verify requests and identify editorial resources
Plans editorial content according to established goals and objects
Monitors reach and effectiveness of communication campaigns, projects, and initiatives
Department: Intercollegiate AthleticsCompensation: Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Knowledge of sports is essential, as is a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
Knowledge and ability to handle PrestoStats, NCAA Genius LiveStats and Gymnastics Virtius for in-game stats, and maintaining statistical information for teams.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills along with strong leadership skills.
A commitment to athletic excellence within an academic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree may be considered an asset.
One to two years of experience in athletics communication is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Follow safety policies and procedures and report any unsafe conditions.

Salary: Biweekly, $2,100 - $2,550
Position Summary:
democracy FIRST is seeking highly motivated and talented Regional Organizing Directors (ROD) passionate about expanding our work to elect pro-democracy candidates to local positions across Wisconsin in the spring 2026 cycle. As a Field Organizer, you will play a critical role in expanding our field impact down the ballot and help protect the administration of our elections for the future. This position requires a strong ability to engage with voters and support the overall organizing program across the city you are assigned to. This position reports directly to the Regional Organizing Director. Campaign offices will be located in the following cities: Eau Claire, Green Bay, Racine, Waukesha - applicants should indicate their preferred location.
Position requires reliable access to transportation, with availability to work weekends and evenings during initial phases. Weekend and evening hours will be required during GOTV.
