This is a First shift position.
Summary: Perform all duties associated with shipping and receiving of product, and inventory management. In event of absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for safety of all equipment used, reporting all unsafe conditions, and accidents (to supervisor or director).
Must be trained and pass licensing for Warehouse Material Handling Equipment. Must operate all equipment safely, following OSHA mandated guidelines.
Performs Warehouse Material Handling Equipment pre-operational check and fills out check sheets. Any deficiencies to be reported immediately to supervisor/manager or director.
Responsible for dock, freezer, grounds and parking lot cleanliness.
Responsible to ensure that all trucks are chocked prior to loading or unloading.
Unload and check in products, verifying counts and lot numbers upon receipt (notes any errors and corrects BOL).
Receiving of incoming product, checking and logging counts, lot numbers and locations.
Move products as needed to pick locations, checking and logging counts, lot numbers and locations.
Accurately pick orders, checking, logging, count, lot numbers, and locations. Order picking to be FIFO’d.
Exhibits a superior attitude while working with outside Carriers, Internal and External Customers, and employees.

Education and/or Experience:

Summary: Assists FSQ Management in the maintenance and improvement of overall product quality and safety. Regularly assures the effective completion and documentation of FSQ responsibilities. Provides leadership and daily direction department technicians for better reduction and resolution of quality and food safety and quality metrics/root cause. In event of absence leadership responsibility will be filled by a FSQ Supervisor, all daily task related items will be delegated by management to an adequately trained Tech II or I.

· Oversees the daily review of HACCP, SSOP, and other Quality related records to assure conformance to requirements.
· Takes action when non-conformances are noted, including by not limited to:
o Assisting management in making initial decision if a food safety risk is present and significant for non-conformances identified; placing affected product on hold or on hazardous hold
o Assists/conducts full investigation
o Assists management in make final disposition on product/equipment affected. Decision based on information gathered and reviewed against USDA and FDA regulations including the FDA's Seafood Hazards and Control Guide or other scientific studies.
o Looks for continuous improvement opportunities in programs and tasks versus performing tasks.
· Responsible for overseeing document control and system updates; Coordinates all HACCP plan and plan related paperwork updates.

Summary
This is a 2nd Shift role:
Oversee the safe operation, daily monitoring and maintenance of our industrial ammonia refrigeration system. Responsible for repair and maintenance of all areas pertaining to the upkeep and efficient operation of all refrigeration, chiller, cooling and freezing systems. In the event of an absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide 24 hour refrigeration service; including monitoring, troubleshooting and repair of the ammonia system. Including all areas pertaining to the upkeep and efficient operation of all systems (compressors, condensers, fans, pumps, spiral chillers, spiral freezers and all other cooling and freezing systems).
· Manage and work on preventive maintenance programs to help improve performance, reduce refrigerant loss, and control expenses.
· Respond to emergency calls during regular and off working hours.
· Daily communication of all pertinent information regarding system operation and maintenance to department head and maintenance team.
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Monitor system to ensure all systems are functioning correctly
· Monitor leak detection system
· Conduct required inspections and reporting through temperature monitoring and control.
· Evaluate and report equipment condition.
· Service all refrigeration equipment and systems in the facility
· Troubleshoot all associated equipment
· Provide 24 hour service
· Fine tune equipment and controls to optimize energy savings
· Provide documentation for EPA compliance records

Application of the principles of statistical process control to manufacturing processes as well as continued maintenance and monitoring of established control methods
Work to support capacity increase projects and to provide analysis of current and future state capacity models
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and reduce material variances
Perform gap assessments and continued analysis of personnel training and development to drive the development of training and onboarding programs as well as the planning of offseason training and development initiatives
Provide formal and informal training and coaching on Lean Six Sigma principles and serve as a subject matter expert on Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Work closely with Supervisor and lead position to ensure the success of continuous improvement initiatives as well as the general success of day-to-day operations

Maintain register of and help to facilitate plant level cost savings initiatives
Collaborate with Area managers to develop, implement, and manage Plant key performance indicators (KPIs). Track and publish KPIs regularly. Coach team members as needed.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) program plant wide and drive recommendations to completion, specifically in the areas of but not limited to: Safety, Product Safety and Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Unplanned Downtime, and Product/Material Losses. Train and coach team members as needed. Track RCAs for completion and communicate with team members regularly.
Lead and coordinate Plant-wide comprehensive Process Improvement plan and project portfolios in the areas of safety, quality, service, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
Facilitate, track and communicate improvement results by reviewing regularly with the Team members, area owners and the leadership team.
Drive structured process improvement initiatives to reduce/eliminate product waste (finished goods, raw materials, packaging).
Develop and implement strategies that improve product quality and process yield, while also coaching and training team members to achieve performance goals.
Responsible for changeover activities including standard target setting, and leading successful efforts to reduce changeover time.
Analyze production times, work force utilization, workflow, space requirements, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Initiate cost reduction projects to reduce operating costs.
Provide tactical support and process improvement techniques (Lean/Six Sigma) for manufacturing processes to resolve quality/operational issues to ensure superior customer satisfaction in product quality and delivery.
Institute process controls to ensure robustness of processes.
Support the daily activities of the production line(s) and/or processing areas.
Environmental and Safety improvements.
