Inspects cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures as required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards. Conducts a variety of Safety checks per procedures, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves. Fills cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards.
Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and/or assists with inventory
Manages paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. Completes quality control sheets as required.
Complies with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases.
Maintains a neat, clean and orderly plant appearance.

Your Role:The Production Machine Operator is responsible for assisting the Line Leader with all aspects of operating the line and maintaining processes within prescribed specifications with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency and waste.

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
Understand and carry out verbal instructions
Read and carry out simple written instructions
Read work orders, labels, and schedules
Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
Make fraction and decimal conversions
Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
Perform other duties as assigned
Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
