Charlean Gmunder is Blue Apron’s Chief Operating Office. Before joining Blue Apron in November 2020, Charlean was the Vice President of Catering Operations with United Airlines, where she was responsible for six company-owned direct food-related manufacturing sites and all third-party manufacturing worldwide. Prior to United Airlines, Charlean was Vice President, Operations, Prepared Meat for Maple Leaf Foods, the largest meat processor in Canada.

Charlean has held leadership responsibilities in both large multinationals and smaller North American food processing operations. A large portion of her career was spent with the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company in a variety of leadership roles in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Sales. As President of the wholly-owned subsidiary, L. A. Dreyfus Company, Charlean was also responsible for global gum base operations for the Wrigley Company.

She has served on the Advisory Board for Uncle Charley’s Sausage, the Board of Directors of the L.A. Dreyfus Company, the Board of Managers of Northwest Flavors Inc., and several non-profits boards.

Charlean holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA, both from Rutgers University.

Greben brings more than 20 years of finance and e-commerce operations experience to his new role, including a record of implementing strategic growth and scaling initiatives. As Chief Financial Officer, he will be responsible for Blue Apron’s financial and treasury functions, reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Linda Findley Kozlowski.

Prior to joining Blue Apron, Greben was Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at ANN Inc., which was a subsidiary of Ascena Retail Group, Inc. In his role, he oversaw corporate and brand finance, strategic planning, e-commerce product management, credit and loyalty programs, and several new business activations for the Ann Taylor, LOFT, and Lou & Grey brands. Greben also oversaw strategy implementation for multiple new business ventures, including the omni-channel launch for factory and outlet stores, and a next generation digital loyalty program.

Prior to ANN Inc., Greben served for approximately four years first as Chief Financial Officer and then as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager at Quidsi, which was a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a business best known for its flagship websites Diapers.com, Soap.com, and Wag.com. While there, he led approximately 1,300 associates across four locations in finance, accounting, tax, inventory management, operations, logistics, and customer care. At Quidsi, Greben helped develop a business strategy to drive growth and profitability. Prior to Quidsi, Greben served as central finance director for Tesco's U.S. venture, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets, Inc., and held multiple finance roles at Taco Bell, a YUM! Brands company.

Terri Leitgeb

Terri Leitgeb is Blue Apron’s Chief People Officer. Before joining Blue Apron in April 2021, Terri was the Chief People Officer at David’s Bridal where she was responsible for all HR operations and internal communications across the business, including retail locations, distribution centers and corporate offices.

Terri has over 15 years of HR experience in retail, particularly grocery, which includes experience in food manufacturing and distribution. She has held many human resources roles in both the U.S. and Europe for Tesco PLC, one of the largest retailers in the world. Their footprint includes multiple food-related retail formats from big box to small convenience stores, and they operate manufacturing and distribution, including fulfillment centers, for their private label food products.

Terri’s role expanded when she became the Chief People Officer for one of Tesco's subsidiary businesses, dunnhumby, a global customer data science company with a focus on the food retail sector.

She received a bachelor of arts in political science from Oregon State University and a MBA from Portland State University.

Pros of working at Blue Apron

I started out on the production table I excelled to the grocery department receiving the product in checking it into the system and moving it to its proper area and from there I advanced to a forklift driver inventory associate my responsibilities were receiving the product and material and taking them into their right places, Putting improperly logging into inventory

What do you like best about Blue Apron's CEO and the leadership team?

That no matter what what kind of crisis Blue Apron financially was going through the CEOs Took the employees and accountability. We may not have gotten the raise, but we still had a job and we did whatever it took to keep the company afloat for Blue Apron, but with these new owners They start escorting, Blue Apron employees out the door to hire more temps.

By changing a leadership

Not only by my appearance, they set the tone of my professional background but also my résumé which this is going to be ironic because I haven’t done a résumé since 1998 to 2023. and that’s because the companies that I work for My performance spoke for itself.

Been with the company as long as I have, the compensation Was standard for a forklift driver

There’s always room for improvement the right team brings the right performance

What brings you the most joy at Blue Apron?

Doing an honest day labor, for a honest day pay. With things that are the way they are $15 an hour. I know it’s better than nothing at all but we are the richest land in the world, and yet Corporate companies can’t be fair with people who keep their business afloat
