This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this position you will perform change analysis activities. Managing change requests, supporting change impact identification, facilitating change boards, status change implementation tasks, and supporting transition of engineering through to manufacturing operations for Blue Moon vehicles.
You will ensure the implementation is consistent with company and business unit policies. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and traceability of data to support program activity and business systems.

* Manage product configuration management (Product structure, parts, drawings, documents, and requirements management)
* Experience in configuration management of part libraries
* Lead change control processes to ensure risks and change impacts are well understood and documented
* Identify and implement system and process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
* Work directly with product teams and senior leadership to provide timely configuration and data management services for all types of data
* Ensure configuration and data management rules are implemented to customer requirements
* Ownership crafting new processes and procedures related to Data Management and deliverables to customers (CDRLs)
* Train team of engineers on the configuration and data management processes and work instructions
Minimum Qualifications:
* AA/AS or BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline
* 6+ years of direct product configuration management experience (Product structure, parts, drawings, documents and requirements management)
* 4+ years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (aerospace, nuclear, government, medical device, etc.)
* Advanced professional expertise of configuration management principles and practices
* Demonstrates strong negotiation skills relative to Configuration Management strategies
* Knowledge of with product lifecycle management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning and/or data management tools
* Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
* Experience in aerospace or automotive industries
* Experience with customer deliverables (CDRLs) and supplier deliverables (SDRLs)

The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design.
As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts in the Systems and Avionics Center of Excellence, you will provide experienced technical leadership to Blue Origin program personnel and the established Radiation Effects team. From mission inception to operation, you will ensure success of Blue Origin's systems. You will actively engage program leadership and engineers to drive intelligent system design, part selection, subcontracts, and analyses.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute strongly to validation of space program designs with respect to radiation control plans, requirements, implementation, and verification; provide design engineering support for avionics and electrical systems
* Lead program design personnel through simulation and verification of digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit performance with considerations for radiation effects; recommend radiation mitigation techniques where required to meet performance requirements
* Analyze impacts of space radiation on avionics and materials (SEE rates, testing requirements, and failure analysis)
* Incorporate radiation effects test data and analysis results into avionics designs

We are seeking a Satellite Avionics Lead to architect and guide the development of advanced avionics systems for the satellite platforms. Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of a B.S. in an electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related engineering discipline.
* A minimum of 8 years of power converter design, architecture, and development experience.
* Proven experience with high voltage aerospace design.
* Demonstrated experience with converter designs for in the space environment from Earth orbiting (LEO to GEO) to deep space.
* Demonstrated experience with converter trades and architecture selection.
* Demonstrated experience with analog design, transformer design, EMI filter design, and protection design (overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal)
* Expertise with EPS analyses such transient analysis, in-rush analysis, stress analysis, stability analysis.
* Experience with Si, GaN, and SiC devices.
* Proven track record to operate with cohesive and effective teams and drive rapid decision making within those teams.
* Experience with development in mission and safety-critical environments.
* Experience with Design for Manufacturing & Cost.
* Ability to travel and/or temporary duty in support of growing tempos of production and operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
* M.S. in electrical engineering, concentration in power electronics
* Familiarity with high voltage EPS components such as solar arrays, batteries, distribution units, wire harnessing, and electric propulsion
Compensation Range for:
CA applicants is $152,235.00-$213,127.95;CO applicants is $139,979.00-$195,969.90;WA applicants is $152,235.00-$213,127.95
