This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Employee Relations. You will provide counsel regarding people related policies and procedures to help problem solve and explore alternatives for conflict resolution and organizational changes. Reporting to the Director, Employee Relations, you will support planning and managing Employee Relations related projects and programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Conduct HR investigations regarding workplace issues such as employee complaints, discrimination, and harassment
* Root cause analysis, and recommendations regarding policy changes, development, interpretation, and precedent setting problem resolution
* Maintain knowledge of, interpret, and provide guidance to employees, managers, and Human Resources regarding policies, procedures, and programs, as well as federal and state labor laws
* Create and provide proactive training and education to managers and Human Resources regarding employment best practices
* Assist with conflict resolution including facilitating and/or mediating difficult escalated conversations
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline
* 7+ years of experience in human resources to include researching and resolving employee relations issues and managing highly sensitive and confidential information
* Experience with successful fact-finding investigations and managing complaints related to employee relations issues
* Experience providing guidance to employees, managers, and HR colleagues regarding policies, procedures, and programs as well as federal and state labor laws

Responsibilities:
Clean and passivate hardware using means such as solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
Safely handle hardware utilizing overhead cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment.
Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems.
Use laser systems to provide identifying features to hardware per technical documentation.
Inspect hardware using visual, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing methods.
Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
Perform shop level maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc.
Conduct general housekeeping of CPV Lab and Certified Clean Room area.
Follow safety regulations and wear protective eyewear, steel toe boots, and other applicable personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience working on fluid systems with applied chemistry fundamentals.

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for welding multiple alloys using the TIG welding process and assist the manufacture, assembly, and test for various spaceflight systems. Responsibilities:
TIG welding aerospace stainless steel and inconel hardware, using manual and/or automatic equipment
Weld preparation including cutting, blending, chamfering and cleaning parts
Support/prepare parts for post-weld inspection processes such as dye penetrant, X-ray and chemical treatments
Design support and fabrication of tooling for welding and assembly
Communicate with engineers on design concepts, offering suggestions for improvements to the design.
CNC system programming, both at the machine control and with offline software to include multi-axis programming.
Setup, operate, and troubleshoot laser equipment.
Perform Strip Welding and Installation on Flight Hardware
Review, edit and follow Work Instructions for welding and assembly work
Safely work within an industrial environment

Qualifications:
5+ years' experience with DC- and AC-TIG welding of aerospace stainless steels and aluminum, inconel alloys
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to document and maintain accurate records
Ability to use precision hand tools, standard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipment, also develop fixtures/tooling.
Familiar with use of personal computers
Desired:
Orbital welding experience or knowledge
Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc.) and pressurized system safety

The team takes the testing plans, maintenance, and processes for each engine and translates them into executable work instructions for the Engine Technician team. The team's work directly impacts the delivery of flight hardware to the New Glenn launch vehicle for launching into space. We are looking for a passionate manager to lead this team, drive up efficiency, solve complex problems, maintain a high team morale, and push boundaries as we drive towards a highly efficient acceptance testing process.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (other relevant fields may apply) from an accredited university
* 8+ years of manufacturing experience
* Substantial experience with Design for Manufacturing/Integration principles.
* Substantial experience with configuration management, requirements management processes, requirements change processes, and risk management processes.

This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Evaluate and select metallic materials for usage in liquid rocket engines, taking into consideration mechanical properties, thermal properties, and environmental factors.
* Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate material and process requirements into the overall vehicle or system design.
* Ensure specialized processes used in the manufacture of hardware have sufficient process controls to ensure a repeatable process.
* Act as Materials & Processes signatory for engineering drawings for rocket engines.
* Perform development and qualification testing for metallic materials to ensure performance under engine induced and external environmental requirements.
* Generate documentation for metallic material and process specifications to ensure adequate process control while optimizing for producibility.
* Provide technical support and disposition of nonconformance's from the application of material and/or process control requirements implementation.
* Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends related to liquid rocket engine materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum B.S. in Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years experience in Material and Process Engineering application in the aerospace industry (level commensurate with experience)
* Experience with one or more of the material systems used in the aerospace industry (Ni-based alloys, Cu-based alloys, Al-based alloys, Ti-based alloys, oxygen-compatible alloys…)
* Hands-on experience working with high-temperature materials, preferably on spacecraft, engines, or similar applications.
* Proven experience developing and executing test plans for analysis and qualification efforts of materials or material systems.
* Knowledge of metallic material processing including but not limited to forgings, castings, extrusions, hydroforming, etc.
* Knowledge of environmentally-assisted degradation and standard methods for testing mechanical properties (including fatigue, fracture, creep, stress rupture) of metals
Preferred Qualifications:
* M.S. or PhD in Materials Science/Engineering or related field
* Demonstrated experience (M&P signatory authority) on a flight production program
* Familiarity with high-temperature, high-pressure oxygen engine applications
* Material selection and implementation for turbomachinery and/or gas turbine components.
* Familiarity with NASA-STD-6016, NASA-STD-5009, and other manned aerospace materials & processes requirements
* Understanding of design constraints of high-pressured hydrogen systems
