In this position you will perform change analysis activities including managing change requests, supporting change impact identification, facilitating change boards, statusing change implementation tasks, and supporting transition of engineering through to manufacturing operations. The goal of the team is to develop new manufacturing methods and qualify processes to be introduced into production. As a plastic injection molding technician, you will be responsible for maintaining daily production uptime of fully automated injection molding machines, including all subsequent post-mold operations. This position also involves the proper documentation of process settings through setup sheets and maintenance of process books and their contents. Other tasks relevant to the process technician include overseeing analyses, participating in work instruction development projects, and training others as necessary. Work area will be on the manufacturing floor running plastic injection molding machines, fixing the machines, setting up/calibrating the machines, operating the machines, and documenting as required. This is a hands-on production job that includes meeting goals for production, quality, inventory of both parts and raw material, and personnel aspects. Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who is skilled in applying engineering principles to oversee the complete lifecycle of mechanical and electromechanical systems. You will be responsible for tasks such as requirements derivation, product design, development, fabrication, assembly, testing, validation, and verification. We are seeking a candidate with solid systems engineering expertise, particularly focused on electromechanical and robotic systems, and someone who can showcase strong leadership skills. In this position, you will take the lead in guiding small team through the development of ultra-reliable systems designed for extreme space environments. Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional teams, comprising mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineers, throughout all project phases Collaborate with teams and customers to define project scope and initial requirements as designs progress from concept to prototype and production Derive and track requirements for electromechanical systems Create design specifications to effectively communicate needs to subsystems end suppliers Develop design plans for the verification and validation of requirements Read, plan, and modify schedules, or recommend changes as needed Proactively identify and address roadblocks to technical progress Review test data and designs, providing recommendations for product and process improvements Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in electromechanical design or analysis, with a focus on aerospace or defense Action-oriented with a forward-leaning mentality Strong understanding of space and lunar environments Experience in designing and/or analyzing spaceflight systems using CAD or CAE software Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NASA NPR 7120 and 7123 Demonstrated knowledge and application of best practices for design of spaceflight systems Experience in defining and tracking requirements for electromechanical or robotic systems Full-cycle development experience, including proposal, planning, design, and production Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on design documentation and report generation Ability to build trust, maintain positive relationships, end contribute to an inclusive culture Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Compensation Range for: CA applicants is $140,959.00-$197,342.25 Other site ranges may differ Culture Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
