* Strong understanding of 3D printing in production, research and prototyping environments.

* Leadership experience with fabrication processes, integration processes, systems engineering standard methodologies, test, quality, and configuration management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acknowledge and take receipt of all incoming materials and packages, identify receipt in the ERP system, and sort for transportation to the identified location

Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers and quantity as required
Approve or reject items and document inspection results as required

As part of the passionate New Glenn Vehicle Product Configuration team, you will work at the intersection of configuration management, systems engineering, production, and vehicle operations to ensure product configuration and engineering requirements are managed and implemented throughout the vehicle lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. degree in engineering or B.S./B.A. in another technical field
5-10 years of experience in design, development, integration, or testing - preferably with aerospace hardware or complex technical systems
Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills

Work with the program's Lead Systems Engineer to ensure compliance with design standards, processes, and general best practices.

Work with subsystems to ensure proper requirements definition, verification and validation plans, consistency with system and mission objectives
Oversee verification and validation strategies, plans and processes to ensure software and hardware components, and the integrated spacecraft subsystems will meet system requirements and mission goals.
Collaborate with other program elements (I&T, ground systems, flight operations, mission management, and systems architecture) to understand their needs and create holistic solutions.
Identify and assisted in the management of technical, schedule and cost risks.
Work with the flight software team to resolve implementation issues, review the software development processes, link their development to L3 requirements and needed functional behaviors.
Asist in the planning and develop of system-level verification methods and events.
Support and collaborate with the Assembly, Integration and Test team in developing test procedures and scripts.
Support integration activities “on the floor” in the spacecraft assembly facility.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or equivalent technical field.

You will also be involved in process and design with engineers to characterize, improve, and document manufacturing processes and the resulting hardware quality. Responsibilities will include: Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and work instructions, safely operating and “owning” vacuum furnaces including maintenance, and continually looking for improvement opportunities in all that you do.

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will contribute to the definition and development of spacecraft thermal control systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.
We are looking for a thermal engineer to be responsible for the system level transient thermal analysis of lunar transport vehicles in ground, launch, Earth orbit, cis-lunar space, lunar orbit, and lunar surface environments using Thermal Desktop. Typical tasks include capturing system inputs, constructing and vetting analysis models, performing system level trade studies, generating temperature and heat transfer predictions, and documenting results.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collect analysis inputs from stakeholders and responsible engineers
Develop new or modified thermal analysis models to represent vehicle configuration and behavior
Create analysis cases to evaluate vehicle thermal performance is worst case conditions
Check own work and correct errors independently
Post process analysis results to draw engineering conclusions from output data
Author and publish analysis reports in various mediums to support engineering decision making
Generate and present design review content to subsystem, vehicle and business unit partners and customers
Create work plans, document progress and report status to leads and managers
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
4-5 years of relevant Thermal Engineering/Analysis experience.
Solid understanding of thermal fundamentals.
Demonstrated thermal analysis skills.
Familiarity with modeling spacecraft thermal performance using Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint.
Preferred Qualifications:

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts in the Systems and Avionics Center of Excellence, you will provide experienced technical leadership to Blue Origin program personnel and the established Radiation Effects team. From mission inception to operation, you will ensure success of Blue Origin's systems. You will actively engage program leadership and engineers to drive intelligent system design, part selection, subcontracts, and analyses.
Responsibilities:
Contribute strongly to validation of space program designs with respect to radiation control plans, requirements, implementation, and verification; provide design engineering support for avionics and electrical systems
Lead program design personnel through simulation and verification of digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit performance with considerations for radiation effects; recommend radiation mitigation techniques where required to meet performance requirements
Analyze impacts of space radiation on avionics and materials (SEE rates, testing requirements, and failure analysis)
Incorporate radiation effects test data and analysis results into avionics designs
Generate thorough part-level, circuit-level, and system-level radiation effects analysis documentation
Contribute to group-wide, program-wide, and company-wide knowledgebase for radiation effects on avionics and materials
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Nuclear Science, or related field
7+ years of experience in design, analysis, and/or testing for radiation effects on electronics and materials
Noteworthy experience in the following:
performing or overseeing electrical circuit analysis and implementation of radiation effects mitigations

The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit.
The position is within the In-Space Systems business unit reporting to the Blue Ring Spacecraft Power Systems integrated product lead. In this role, you will be accountable for driving future In-Space Systems products and services by developing spacecraft hardware and architectures to meet our business goals.
The selected candidate requires strong spacecraft design experience with an emphasis on power electronics and converter design & control, as well as excellent collaboration skills to work across multiple disciplines and business areas across Blue Origin. This position requires 8+ years of experience with power conversion design and architecture experience and a demonstrated ability to design to cost and design for manufacturing at rate. Deep understanding of common converter architectures (isolated and non-isolated), stability, power filtering, converter EMI, transformer design, and power and transient analysis and simulation methods. You will contribute to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical judgement and competence, and a passion for the highest technical standards partnering with engineering leadership to achieve program goals with acceptable risk.
Responsibilities:
As a Power Electronics Responsible Engineer, you will be responsible for hardware developments for spacecraft Electrical Power Systems with a primary focus on converter development. In this role, you will be accountable to implement power conversion architectures that support current and future Blue Origin spacecraft.
The ideal candidate will have a breadth technical knowledge that includes radiation effects on converters as well as an understanding of top-level EPS architectures common in Space Vehicles. You will be required to take high level subsystem requirements and derive the ideal power conversion solution. You must be competent at trading power conversion architectures, conducting detailed converter analysis for both steady state and transient conditions, control and stability analysis, voltage drop analysis, stress analysis, in-rush analysis, EMI filtering, transformer design and implementation, analog design, overcurrent and overvoltage protection within converters, and implementation of Si, GaN, and SiC based devices. You will work with multidisciplinary teams of engineers (thermal, mechanical, radiation, etc.) to develop and deliver a compliant solution that meets vehicle needs.
