This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.
As a software development engineer in Enterprise Software, you will bring your perspective to aerospace applications of engineering design, manufacturing, supply chain, mission operations, or customer experience.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop software systems and infrastructure in languages like Java, Python, AWS components, and Spring.
* Build web user interfaces in frameworks like Angular and React.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to understand their needs and design solutions that accelerate all phases of vehicle development, test, and operation, up to and including the day of launch.
* Integrate and extend commercial products using GraphQL, REST web services, and message queues.
* Fix software problems at multiple levels, including installation, deployment, configuration, server-side and client-side issues.

Qualifications:
* Full-stack developer with at least 5 years of relevant experience writing software and deploying it to a production environment.
* Demonstrated skill in typed (like Java or C) and untyped (like Javascript) languages.
* Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals like algorithms and common data structures.
* Ability to solve problems by writing efficient working code, even when given incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
* Solid communication skills; open to the opinions of others, bring your own creative ideas for solutions, and willing to own and rectify mistakes.

SECURITY SOFTWARE ENGINEER
SpaceX is looking for a Security Engineer to join the Security department to help protect and drive the SpaceX mission. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, build, and maintain technology solutions and systems that provide security for SpaceX systems, networks, and data. This can include:
Authentication and identity services, including multi-factor solutions, network access control identity servers, and related authentication and authorization technologies.
Identity lifecycle management services and automation. Build and maintain scripts and automation that support the information security mission across SpaceX, to be utilized by information security teammates and other partner organizations.
Network security systems and the backend infrastructure that powers such services.
Application level security controls (e.g. web application firewalls).
Cloud deployments security policy enforcement, centralized configuration management, monitoring, etc.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for those solutions, maintaining documentation on them and advising others on their underlying technologies and operation.
Work with security and IT teams to identify threats and problem areas, using that feedback to further strengthen tools and technologies. Materialize this as improvements which result in stronger and safer software and application deployments across SpaceX, measuring in decreased risk and prevalence of issues.
Create solutions that are scalable, repeatable, maintainable, and secure.
Work collaboratively with other teams, including individuals in information security, physical security, information technology, human resources, legal, software, and others.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER, STARLINK GROWTH

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

As a Simulation Software Engineer on the Starlink GNC team, you will help develop and maintain our in-house vehicle dynamics simulator, as well as related infrastructure for dispersed Monte Carlo simulations, hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) simulations, and GNC-specific data visualization. SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PCBA (STARLINK)
As a Software Engineer on the PCBA design and manufacturing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining software that interfaces with manufacturing equipment on our production line, with the goal of making our PCBA manufacturing process faster and more reliable. This is a high-autonomy role that will require building close relationships with manufacturing staff to understand issues, and coming up with software solutions interfacing with APIs or hardware that may have little or no documentation or vendor support. We are looking for people who like to own a problem from start to finish in a high-responsibility and low-micromanagement environment!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX production and engineering

As an OS/Platform Software Engineer on the Starlink program, you will be solving challenges underpinning every aspect of the program's growth. The areas you could have an impact on could include, but are not limited to:
