Bluefield College offers a faith-based education in a small community that integrates academics, spiritual life and extracurricular activities. Located in scenic Bluefield, Virginia, Bluefield College's academics encompass professional and liberal arts majors, as well as a special program for adult learners. Bluefield College offers more than 40 undergraduate majors in such subjects as: * Christian Studies * Criminal Justice * Forensic Science * Graphic Communication * Teacher Education Bluefield College is also home to the Inspire program, which offers accelerated degrees in healthcare, criminal justice and business to adults throughout the state. All of Bluefield's academics integrate the teachings of the Bible. College life activities also promote spiritual involvement. Students may join various campus ministries, religious clubs and attend religious lectures on campus. Bluefield College's location, at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, also makes for a scenic college experience. Bluefield awards a select number of partial scholarships based on GPA and ACT or SAT scores. Most of these scholarships require that recipients have a GPA of at least 3.0 or 3.5 and a minimum SAT of 1050. Additional types of financial aid include state and federal grants and student loans. Admissions applications are available on the Bluefield College website. Applicants are also encouraged to contact an admissions officer with any questions about the process.
