About BluePearl, Midtown:
We are an ER + Specialty hospital offering emergency and critical care, surgery, cardiology, oncology, neurology, diagnostic imaging, dermatology, anesthesia & pain management, and we have our very own blood bank.
Accessible by public transportation, BluePearl Midtown on West 55th Street has a linear accelerator, which allows it to offer radiation therapy for cancer patients.
The 20,000-square-foot hospital, formerly known as NYC Veterinary Specialists, also offers radioiodine I-131 treatment for cats with hyperthyroidism.
It's New York and so our Midtown hospital occasionally makes it into a movie or TV show. As you might guess, our veterinarians sometimes respond to the medical emergencies of TV and zoo animals, including a hypoglycemic porcupine, a flamingo with a fracture and a tiger with a bad knee, to name a few.
Perks to living in Manhattan:
Manhattan is renowned for its iconic skyline, bustling streets, cultural institutions, and as a global financial center.
Manhattan is home to world-class museums, theaters (like Broadway), galleries, and music venues, offering rich cultural experiences.
Manhattan hosts three of the world's top 10 most-visited tourist attractions: Times Square, Central Park, and Grand Central Terminal.
With a robust public transportation system, it's to get around. Most neighborhoods are walkable, and many amenities are within close proximity.
Love sports? You have plenty of NY teams to root for including the Yankees, Mets, Jets, Giants, Knicks, Islanders and Rangers!
Love to eat? New York is famous for its pizza, pastrami sandwiches, cheesecake, hots dogs, bagels, and black & white cookies!
