BlueStacks company history timeline

2009

In 2009, Suman Saraf, Jay Vaishnav, and Rosen Sharma, a member of Cloud.com and earlier CTO at McAfee, founded the company.

2011

In San Francisco, the company was proclaimed at a conference of Citrix Synergy on 25th May 2011.

2012

On 27th June 2012, the organization launched the alpha-1 version of the Bluestacks App Player for macOS, although the beta version was launched on 27th December 2012.

2013

On 9th May 2013, the GamePop, the service of subscription, was launched.

2014

In July 2014, Samsung announced it had invested in BlueStacks.

2016

On 7th April 2016, the organization launched Bluestacks TV, which combined Twitch. tv straight into the App Player.

2018

On 18th September 2018, Bluestacks proclaimed the launch of its Bluestacks 4, the advanced flagship version.
