Bluestone Physician Services CEO and leadership

David Nelsen joined Bluestone Physician Services as CFO in 2017. Prior to Bluestone, he worked at American Dental Partners for 16 years, overseeing all financial operations and supporting the growth of the organization through both mergers and acquisitions activity and organic growth. He also held a variety of finance positions at The Pillsbury Company and was an audit manager with KPMG.

In his spare time, David enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and watching college basketball.

Tim Koehler is COO of Bluestone Physician Services and President of Bluestone National. He is dedicated to expanding the Bluestone Physician Services model in the national health care market, improving the way medical care is delivered to vulnerable and high-risk patient populations. Prior to joining Bluestone, Tim spent 18-plus years at UnitedHealth Group, including roles in executive leadership, operations, finance, sales, account management, acquisitions integration, new market strategy, personnel mentoring and development. He was one of the founders and president of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Alliance, a UnitedHealth Group organization.

In his spare time Tim enjoys: traveling, skiing, fishing, woodworking, college football, watching his kid’s sports, and any other outdoor activity he can share with his family.
