1985

In 1985, they made history again, with King of Rock, rap’s first platinum album.

1991

Since 1991, it has successfully developed more than 1,200 acres of retail, light industrial, commercial and residential projects in and around Henderson.

1992

In 1992, the company built a new office at 118 Elm Street, just two blocks south of the old location.

1993

The company changed its name to Billings Mutual Insurance Company in January of 1993.

1996

He is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Velvet Underground in 1996 and is cited as one of the most influential music makers in both punk rock and indie music.

1999

In 1999, another subsidiary was created, Basic Remediation Company, LLC., with its sole purpose to carry out the restoration of the 2,200 acres east of Boulder Highway.

2000

Since the year 2000, Billings Mutual Insurance Company has acquired and merged 10 Missouri mutual companies under its charter.

2009

To accommodate the accelerated growth from the mergers, in 2009, the company expanded the office to the size it is today.

2013

Winners of the 2013 Oscar for their original song “Let It Go” from the film Frozen, the win also landed Robert in the “EGOT” history book for being the 12th and youngest composer to win all four major annual entertainment awards: Emmy, GRAMMY, Oscar and Tony.

2015

In 2015, researchers at Harvard University and the University of Sheffield released a study identifying six different types of obesity, each of which had their own etiology and called for different types of treatment.

2017

The company also distributes and administers a record $1.118 billion in royalties to its songwriters, composers and publishers, an increase of $95 million over 2017.
