Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of technology stacks tailored to meet client requirements.
Support client accounting across various industries, ensuring efficiency and alignment with client needs.
Expertly utilize Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Bill.com.
Perform comprehensive accounting cleanup, diagnosis, and solutions.
Produce accurate monthly financial statements in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide client advisory services, focusing on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Assist in formulating strategies aligned with client business goals and accounting functions.
Lead projects related to data conversion and file migrations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and manage expectations throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications:
Strong background in technology implementation and data management related to Accounting processes.
3-5 years of experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting systems.
Understanding of Accounting principles, financial statements, cash flow, and expense management.
Proficient in analyzing data and providing alternative solutions.
Ability to design and implement technology stacks tailored to client needs.
Experience with historical accounting cleanup and reconciliation.
Skilled in identifying discrepancies within financial statements.
Effective problem solver with strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to seek guidance when necessary.

Complete monthly accounting reconciliations of all Balance Sheet accounts, including bank, credit card, prepaids, etc.
Research and resolve uncategorized expenses and "Ask Accountant" items.
Read agreements impacting financials and prepare necessary schedules (e.g., debt, prepaids, deferred revenue).
Monitor open item requests and follow up with US client leads or clients directly, as appropriate.
Alert associates regarding open item responses.
Client Management:
Be assigned to specific clients to develop deep knowledge of their accounts.
Update client-level processes and procedures as needed.
Track and request vendor W-9s throughout the year; update vendor profiles in Xero/QBO/NetSuite.
Reporting & Analysis
Collaborate with US client leads to prepare reporting using tools such as Fathom.
After workpapers and reviews are complete, prepare the initial draft of the month-end reporting package.
Add or update commentary on revenue trends, gross margins, SG&A fluctuations, and overall business performance.
Review & Oversight:
Perform first-level reviews of work completed by associates.
Review accounting systems post-close to ensure bank rules remain accurate and aligned with training standards.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Conduct weekly check-ins with associates and maintain daily interaction to address work progress and any issues.
Serve as a technical resource for associates, providing guidance and support.

Position Purpose
The Loan Accounting Analyst is responsible for delivering high level and quality customer service. Completes loan support accounting and GL functions for new and renewed loans:

Review closing packages for codes and figures
Prepare the forms for input into the loan accounting system. Prepares and enters loan transactions to the Bank's core to help ensure costs associated with the loan are posted to the correct general ledger accounts.
Ensure Loan GL Recons provided by the Accounting Department are managed daily.
Tracks accounts payable invoices for loans and research when payment inconsistencies arise.
Prepares lien releases and sends to appropriate party for processing.
Ensures payoff and release documentation is timely uploaded to Imaging System.
Ensures the collateral records in the loan accounting system are properly updated to reflect any released or changed collateral.
Performs transactions and manages request queues to meet department SLAs, such as:

Where you will work:This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is open to any Compeer office location in Mankato, MN, Bloomington, IL, and Prairie du Sac, WI.
The contributions you will make: This position is responsible for completing, preparing, balancing and reconciling general ledger accounts and journal entries impacted by client transactions.
A typical day:
Completes daily accounting reconciliations/general ledger balancing in relation to loan accounting transactions.
Processes and analyzes organizational fees.
Creates and reviews accounting system entries using the appropriate general ledger accounts, procedures and accounting principles, for routine and moderately complex transactions.
Reviews and reconciles general ledger accounts to ensure monthly balances.
Provides technical support to team members and/or vendors regarding issues with general ledger, client transactions, subsidiary accounts and financial systems in accordance with department and company policies and procedures. Resolves issues in a timely manner.
Responds to and resolves routine and moderately complex issues and situations.
Receives guidance from more experienced financial operations team members on more complex problems and issues.
Monitors team inbox and answers questions via email or phone.
Assists in other general accounting functions and department mailings as needed.
Uses available information on accounting systems and may create processes and/or distribute various department and management reports used in ongoing decision-making.
Assists in identifying the trends and/or interpreting report information.
Creates various spreadsheets for data inputs, allocations, accruals, and calculations that impact the financial statements.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum of 2 years related work experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
Solid knowledge of basic accounting and/or finance principles.
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

The contributions you will make:
This position provides clients with information for credit, tax and management decisions by providing advanced accounting expertise to clients and Compeer team members. Works with team members to actively market and cross-sell products and services to new and existing clients. Proactively maintains and enhances accounting and technical expertise and serves as a resource to team members.
A typical day:
Accounting Services
Processes accounting transactions in a timely manner and in accordance with the GAAP and Compeer policies and procedures under the guidance of a Senior Accounting Specialist.
Provides accurate and timely accounting processing and delivery of financial statements to clients.
Responsible for less complex accountingaccounts, including depreciation, payroll processing, and full-service accounts:
Inputs client provided accounting data into accounting software.
Reviews, balances, keys, and prints monthly accounting reports.
Demonstrates to the client the importance and value of accurate and timely financial statements and how they can be used to add value.
Meets multiple deadlines on accounts including completion of processing accounting files in time for tax planning, W-2 and 1099 preparation and year-end tax preparation.
Provides accounting answers and expertise to Compeer team members and clients.
Collects on delinquent client accounts.
Industry Expertise
Provides technical accounting expertise to team members when questions arise.
Advises local peer group members on accounting changes and the affects to client businesses.
Stays abreast, and educates others, of trends and developments on income tax accounting and reporting guidance, as applicable to the insurance industry.
Develops and maintains a thorough understanding and technical knowledge in accounting.
Seeks out opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise in the area of accounting.
Makes recommendations concerning changes or enhancements to software, policies, procedures, best practices, and job responsibilities.
Participates in the development and presentation of ongoing educational programs for Compeer team members and clients regarding tax and accounting services.
Assists in leading Compeer team members on client visits and at agriculture or community events to develop knowledge in all Compeer products and services.
Sales and Prospecting

Position Purpose
The Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist is responsible for all day-to-day activities related to payment of outstanding amounts to vendors and employee expense reimbursements. This position, at times, may be involved in certain aspects of special projects including A/P system related software upgrades and implementation.
Position Responsibilities
Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers and resolving discrepancies.
Reviews vendor statements for accuracy and researches discrepancies as needed for resolution.
Assists the Accounts Payable Supervisor with the processing of corporate credit card expenses.
Manages the A/P database and is responsible for keeping vendor data up-to-date within the system and as directed.
Works with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and Assistant Controller to ensure all policies and procedures related to the A/P function are updated as needed.
Assists with documentation retrieval for audit requests.
Responsible for processing daily mail (USPS) received in the Accounting Department and disbursing as needed.
May assist with other A/P or accounting duties.
Minimum Education & Experience
3+ Years previous accounting experience related to Accounts Payable
General understanding of accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
Ability to multi task and perform in a deadline driven environment
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Microsoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc); excellent oral and written communication skills.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $25.91 - 32.38 hourly. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as relevant experience, skill set, education, geographic location, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.

Support Regulatory Compliance: Review 1099 reports for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Enhance Operational Efficiency: Promote digital engagement with vendors, drive portal adoption, and increase e-invoicing rates.
Facilitate Onboarding: Set up new employees in accounts payable and expense reimbursement systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
Execute Special Projects: Complete ad hoc analyses, reports, and special projects as assigned to support department goals.
Qualifications, Competencies and Skills
Proficient knowledge of accounts payable processing
Associates degree in accounting or finance preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years related accounts payable experience required
Preferred software experience: Coupa, PeopleSoft AP, Chrome River, Visual Lease
Proficiency in Excel
Adaptable and dynamic in a progressive, changing environment
Strong technical, analytical, and recordkeeping skills

Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Accountant is a non-exempt, full-time on-site position. The Accounts Receivable Accountant at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) is an integral team member of the Business Office. This position is responsible for accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Creates financial transactions that include posting information to accounting journals, worksheets, and accounting software systems. The Accounts Receivable Accountant manages all aspects of accounts receivable management, including but not limited to tuition and reconciling accounts.
Essential Responsibilities
Record revenue from all sources and provide accounting support .
Record and manage tuition and fee payment, collection and recording in the general ledger and FACTS (subledger)
Oversee enrollment of students including collection of tuition contracts, ensuring tuition accounts set up and collection and recording of registration fees.
Communicate with Admissions departments regarding the status of returning students during re-enrollment
