Process Technician - 2nd Shift
Where we need you
2nd Shift (3p-11p) $32-$38 w/ $1.25 Shift Differential
Scrap Rates for assigned presses
Monitor actual cycle times / efficiency
Upkeep of Process Parameter sheets (Info to Engineer)
Identify Problems (Press / Robot / EOAT) Feedback to Engineer)
Logbook Entry / Pass down of shift Issues
Keep Machines clean (Purge / Pellets / Parts & Runners in press / etc.)
Identify ROOT CAUSE and put into barco at each press stoppage (accurate data)
Cleaning of the tools in assigned area (each shift )
Proper Break times and not all together
Training of Setup in process and proper startup of the presses / tools
Other duties as needed.

As a Senior ProcessEngineer in the Purilogics business unit at Donaldson Company, you will play a key role in advancing membrane-based chromatography products. You will lead the design, optimization, and scale-up of chemical synthesis processes critical to our product development as well as assist with the successful technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing. Role Responsibilities:
Lead chemical synthesis projects focused on membrane functionalization, including planning, execution, and reporting, while ensuring on-time delivery.
Design, optimize and scale up processes for new and existing products, with a focus on efficiency, reproducibility, and high quality.
Develop and execute experimental studies, analyze data, and generate recommendations for process improvements.
Design and establish test methodologies to support process development and validation
Prepare and review technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and process descriptions, and deliver presentations as needed.
Collaborate with R&D teams to transfer technologies into manufacturing, ensuring smooth scale-up and implementation.
Support troubleshooting of complex process issues and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Act as a technical lead by providing guidance and mentorship to emerging R&D scientists and engineers.
Communicate results and analyses effectively to stakeholders to support decision-making.
Support other operational activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical synthesis process development, scale-up, or manufacturing or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in chemical synthesis process development, scale-up, or manufacturing.
Experience in scaling up wet chemical processes.
Experience with statistical analysis (e.g. ANOVA, t-test, capability analysis), DoE (Design of Experiments), and process modeling tools.
Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:

Purpose
The Manufacturing Engineer bridges design and production, optimizing designs for manufacturability while enhancing processes to support high-reliability hardware. Work with R&D and PD groups during product/process development. Support all process development activities including material development scaleup, plant trials, equipment trials and the implementation/documentation of processing parameters and recipes from raw material to final part. Follow the PDP and ODP processes.
Responsible for the preparation of Process Flow Segment Maps, PFMEAs for all new launched parts in compounding/conversion areas. Utilize part prints, DFMEAs, material specifications, FMA's, MCA's, Formula Recipes and equipment controls/limits as reference for their creation. Work with the quality department to see that these are carried over into the control plans and floor paperwork.
Lead all activities related to process launches including investigations, feasibility, proposals, trials/runoffs of processing equipment. Project Manage the recommended processing equipment including design reviews, equipment signoffs, run at rates and capability studies to produce any existing or new material/products at quoted/standard rates and efficiencies. Follow the CLP process for all capital expenditures.
Interface with production, quality, support technicians and maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and eliminate material quality and process failure issues (including Gemba, Kaizen, RedX, Is/IsNot, DOE's, and other studies so causes & effects can be identified). Drive continuous improvement with respect to quality (1
