Pros of working at Bob Mills Furniture

They truly live by their Core Values. "Everyone is Family" "Do the Right Thing" "Never Be Satisfied" "Wow the Customer". They give a clear vision or the company and the owner is very involved. They believe in culture and do a lot of fun things to include everyone.

Cons of working at Bob Mills Furniture

Really not much. It is retail so at times the hours can be hard but that is part of the job.

Everyone clearly knows what the quaterly, yearly and 3 year goals are. It is truly a family culture.

What do you like best about Bob Mills Furniture's CEO and the leadership team?

He is extremely involved. He could easily sit back and do nothing but instead he is in the office 7 days a week and spends a lot of time on the sales floor meeting customers and helping train the sales staff. He lives our core value of "Never be Satisfied" but he also is a very caring person. He does a lot for others that is not shared or made public. He does it because he cares and not because he wants recognition.

How would you improve Bob Mills Furniture's culture?

Possibly more interaction with the warehouse and the staff.

How did you prepare for the Bob Mills Furniture interview?

I didn't really have too. They approached me and we were a good fit.

How does your compensation at Bob Mills Furniture compare to the industry average?

Extremely well. There is not one other furniture store that makes more as a salesperson than. You have to be comitted and do your job, but it is worth it. You can't expect to coast and make good money. They give you tons of training and if you truely follow the process, you can be make a lot of money.
