    Job Title Fleet Mechanic Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking an experienced mechanic to maintain our growing fleet of Freightliner trucks along with the trailers. The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for timely completion of routine maintenance and emergency repairs of the Distribution Center truck fleet. Schedule shop work, order parts, and maintain proper documentation for compliance issues. Other responsibilities include: Perform scheduled routine maintenance and diagnostics including but not limited to: Tire changes/rotations, Electrical and mechanical system checks, etc. Perform emergency repairs as identified by drivers and inspections i.e. brakes, vehicle lighting, etc. Proficiently perform stick welding operations when and where required including but not limited to: Cutting, Braising, and Fabricating.
